On the first day, I couldn't get my passport, so I had to navigate the city using the transit system and wait another day. Though I couldn't do anything fun, I enjoyed having breakfast upstairs and exploring a bit of Ottawa.

Why did you renew your passport, do you want to apply for extension? Cause rn, I'm going for a 4 years course yeah, and my passport has just 3 years validity i already applied for my visa, so I'm confused rn, do you suggest i apply renew my passport here or come renew it there in Canada cause i don't know how long the renewal will take and is applying for visa extension difficult in Canada?

@@Chy_1mma yeah I renewed my passport because my passport would expire by January alongside my study permit and I’m supposed to graduate by April so that would make me an illegal immigrant and I can’t do my co-op without it hence the renewal hun .

@@Chy_1mma you still have time boo so don’t rush you can renew your Nigerian passport as early as one year at most before expiration date . I’ll be requesting for two extensions though for my current program and the next one, also speak with the international student department they’ll put you through on the basics but you have to sort your Nigerian passport yourself 💕
