I feel like her business model should be trying to be a one stop shop for all dog owners. The pitch really seemed to focus on just the dog friendly restaurants aspect.

Nobody talked about the elephant in the room, but it is possible that there are not many dog friendly venues to begin with.

Sort of. I'd expect a dog owner focused website like this would have more range in restaurants/accomodations which would be more up-to-date with events or offers, which a larger established company would struggle to keep on top of. Or they could, but it'd be more money than they'd want to invest since the business isn't big enough. I would use her site over an established one *if* that were the case.

Capitalism doesn't seem so great when the average person can't even created their own business without being ran over by mega corporations, same ones lining politicians pockets in favor of laws which benefit them rather than the average people of the country.

I think she should turn it into a website where you can buy meals for your dogs from those restaurants. Because this really is a tick-box atm.

Exactly what I thought, I though it would be good with a dog menu in the restaurants and she could supply the the stuff.

I love this! She should extend it to rentals, hotels and all kinds of services. I would pay premium if it meant the business would welcome my dog.

So sick of the "someone else could do this" line. Thats' almost always true, and yet, companies make money on such propositions.

I went to a dog friendly pub once… all was normal… then a dog owner came in… all was still normal… then another dog owner…. All was still normal…. And then a third dog owner came in…. And those 3 dogs decided to have a royal rumble… the dogs were fighting, the owners were fighting… the staff were fighting the owners….. there’s a reason why dogs don’t belong in restaurants and bars….

she could go for ad revenue and such, advertise dog stuff on the site, thats where the money is alot of the time these days

its interesting how the Dragons went from praising her background, to "is this a tick box?"

Restaurants could do this themselves. Hotels or motels would be a better option.

So we are going to have a lot of restaurants full of dogs with their owners are we, and what about dog control and doggy mess all over the floor.

It's like having a child in the restaurant. It's up to the adult to keep them well behaved and not a make a mess. My dog is better behaved than most kids I have seen in restaurants. From your comment it sounds like you don't like dogs.

@@dominicharvey6048 I do like dogs and I love dogs and have had dogs of my own but 6 or7 dogs in one restaurant is a pattern for disaster, it doesn't matter how well behaved your dog is what about the others. Dogs, except assist dogs should be banned from restaurants.

Well google or any other big navigation company can implement this very easily like very easily Dog Amnesties available Dog tag on the dog-friendly restaurants Filter for dog-friendly place All within Google Maps or any other big platform all for free unless google acquires her ofc lool

You totally missed the bigger picture of Steven's reason why he is out and it's definitely not feeble, in fact they're VERY GOOD reasons. - She's having Hospitality establishment PAY HER for the listing. - She's attempting to create a Tech Company - Low Scalability and Growth - Easily overshadowed by competitors - Her "Tech Team" isn't exactly a Tech Team. So yeah. It's far from feeble. In fact, if you watch the video and listened properly you could can easily find this out. Even though Steve is a Dragon and a hypocritical one at this, this business to the Dragons is a Fool's Errand. What happens if you blindly invest in a Fool that doesn't succeed? You become the Fool.
