Thanks 💞 yes it's possible. You can buy tickets at the train station. It's just mostly cheaper to book in advance

Very detailed👍 were you allowed to enter the plane with your hand luggage and back pack? if yes was it weighed at the airport and what was the weight of both?

I entered with my backpack only but they'll allow you go with both as long as it doesn't exceed the baggage allowance. My hand luggage was barely 6kg while the backpack was about 3kg I think. 😊

Just 1 flight. Ethiopian airline. We stopped at Addis Ababa before flying to Manchester.

I didn't do mine myself.. Someone helped me book it in the UK. You can download trainline and pay with PayPal

No they don't.

Please I just booked my flight to the UK via Ethiopia airline, please do I need a covid certificate and a yellow fever certificate?? Additionally do I have to pay for hotel during the layover??

I wasn't asked for these certificates when I travelled. & Paying to lodge wasn't mandatory.
