TRAVEL VLOG: A week on the ISLE OF WIGHT | Things to do in Shanklin and Sandown
A week in June 2023 on the Isle of Wight.
Travel with me as I spend a week long holiday based in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. The holiday starts as I arrive by Hovercraft into the sandy beaches of Ryde. During my trip I will be exploring the east coast of the island including Shanklin, Sandown, Ventnor, Newport and Ryde.
As it's June of course the Isle of Wight Festival makes an appearance.

I grew up on the Island and love to go back to visit. This video has made me want to book a little trip. Shankin Chine is so special, I miss it ❤

There are very few places like the Isle of Wight but New Zealand looks stunning. Such and amazing place it looks stunning

It's easy to see why it's a popular place for holidays
I was there that week. Had great weather. Unlike now!! Loved the chine. We stayed in a lovely place in Shanklin with a view of the ocean.

The weather was amazing that week. Looking out the window today it feels like a distant memory. We were very lucky.
This makes me want to visit the Isle of Wight, so beautiful x

It is lovely there
I was lucky to be born & raised for most of my childhood there, i live in Wales now. Cant say i was best pleased to be dragged away at 14 from there to the mountains & sheep 😂 Ive grown to love it here now, obviously haha.. off to the I.O.W in sept with my 3 who are practically grown adult children now, i look forward to it everytime 💚

@tinymouse.travel it is an amazing, beautiful place.. certainly miss the beaches but im happy(ish) where I am now 😄 ..so many things had changed the last time I visited about 10 years ago, I imagine there's been changes since, ill soon see! I've just become your 150th subscriber ..so I'm hoping to see some Wales vids in the mix in the near future 😉 haha.. have a great day 😀
