Been to Naples, Florida, quite a few years ago, to a similiar condo. Our friends from Bells Corners shared the condo with us. A wonderful area and trip. Love the cars there. Enjoy your time. Great video on your trip down south. I find the music a touch loud, as I love to hear your commentary.

Thanks for watching. Yes the sound gave us a bit of trouble. Did the best we could, and will take it as an opportunity to trouble shoot and learn. 🥰
We will be leaving from the Gatineau area in October 2023 for our first retirement snowbird adventure to Tampa! Saw that you used the I-81 which was recommended to us by family members. Very scenic, less stress. Great video!

Cross at Thousand Islands - don't make the mistake of crossing at Prescott-Ogdensburg as it is quite rural with Amish carriages on the road. The biggest issue is going around Washington - my favourite route is stay on 81 till Winchester then take the 50 then 17 and catch the i95 at Fredericksburg. The 17 is also labelled 15 and they seem to be the same road. It looks like they are rural on the map but it is really a twinned highway most of the way and it really jaunts you around DC. The rest of the drive is easy as long as you pay attention to construction around Jacksonville and know whether or not to take the bypass. Doing the drive again this winter can't wait!

@@rob6051 I was thinking of crossing at the end of the 416 which is the 1000 islands because it's about 1 hr from Ottawa. I'll take notes for sure and decide where to explore on our way down to Tampa.

@@danielguertin9664 I'm in Ottawa area too. Its a nice drive once you get down past Scranton - not endless wilderness like Ontario Quebec NB :) Enjoy your trip! I'm road-tripping that way in March.
