No you don't need to pay for their food and stay. The guide has to be with you for all monument visits so taking public transport is not an option but you can explore the locality alone when you are done visiting the monuments or crossing cities. You can contact the guide to get a quote for the taxi according to your itinerary.

Hi , Bhutan govt has started taking 1200 Rs tax per day per person from Indians. Is it true ? If so then where we have to pay this tax , while immigration ?

weekend ko Phuntsholing jake wapas Jaigaon aasakte ho but Phuntsholing me rehna ka permit nahi milega.

Phuentsholing entry for morning to evening without paying SDF and entry stamp affix in stamps on passport is possible?

No if you are not paying SDF then there won't be any stamp on passport. You will be required to cross border and return back to Jaigaon by night.

No, if someone is underage then he/she has to carry birth certificate instead of voter ID.

How did you book the hotel and cab ? What was per day charges ?

You can directly book the rooms with the hotel through WhatsApp or any hotel booking website. For Cab I had taken a package through a local travel agent (it was pre booked)but u can directly pre book with the guide as well or you can book at the pedestrian terminal once you reach jaigaon.

Good video....we are also planning a Bhutan trip next month and I called the Guide which u hired....i guess the immigration entry is possible in all the days including weekend....the guide told me that we can enter Bhutan all 7 days.....can you please cross check from your end?

If he is saying so then that may be the case. Previously only on weekdays it used to be open ie. The phuntsholing immigration office but. From Paro airport entry permit was given on all 7 days. So you can check with the Guide if it's possible now from phuntsholing on all 7 days. I will be uploading the thimpu and Punakha vlog this month itself. So stay tuned and check them out as well. Hopefully you will get some more idea about the place.

It will depend on your route and itinerary. You can get in touch with the Guide. He will provide the details and you can negotiate accordingly or get an idea about the prices in case you want to go and do a spot booking. Contact details are provided in the description.

Does the guide roam every where we go?

No, only in the tourists spots and during the day trips. Post the sight seeing and day trips you can explore the place on your own. As in this vlog also you can see I was exploring the cafes and local markets in the evening. But at the tourist spots and monuments you have to be attended by the Guide.

Ofcourse you can but that won't be very cost effective considering the new rules. You will have to bear the hotel, transport and guide charges by yourself. So if you have the budget surely go ahead solo and the guide will be there with you throughout so nothing to worry about.

Hi, the cab cost will depend on your itinerary and the places you are visiting. You can get in touch with our guide (details given in description)for the prices. And coming to hotel cost, the one in Thimpu was 2100 INR. You can check online for updated prices of the particular hotel. I would suggest you to negotiate with the hotel for a better deal.

It will depend on your itinerary and stay. You can get in touch with the guide and negotiate the guide fee as well as the car package according to your itinerary. Hotels you can book by urself as well by getting in touch with the hotels directly (check prices online and negotiate for a better deal)

But if you just want a rough estimate I would say a 5 nights trip in Bhutan will cost you atleast 40 to 45k (depending from where you are coming and the number of people in your group)
