Well, there are quite a few factors that may affect the cost of OTA development, namely: 1) a business model; 2) the number of product lines (flights, hotels, cars, tours, yachts, insurance, etc.); 3) the number of suppliers; 4) advanced business logic when it comes to things like search, pricing, or anything else; 5) development of any mobile apps apart from a website; 6) support of any loyalty programs, personal accounts, etc.; 7) back-office for booking management and business management; 8) development of any marketing and sales tools (support of marketing campaigns, integrations with meta search engines, etc.); 9) availability of BI solutions. A super simple OTA solution, which is developed on a ready-made white-label booking engine, can be relatively cheap. Speaking of a fully-fledged OTA, it’s unlikely to cost less than $1 Million.
