A carabiner to carry those sandals outside the backpack so they don't take up any space. I also bring some plastic grocery bags. They certainly don't look fancy, but I use those for everything, snacks, trash, laundry, plus organizing clothes almost like packing cubes but more flexible and take up less space. Many more uses.

I have half a dozen every day. Carry dinner or shopping. Secure to tuk tuk. So helpful. Changes weight from hands to shoulders and frees up your hands.

Please don’t make me shop more than I already do 😭

I got a Dock and bay towel when they first came out and it is still going strong ...love it!

I think that another good thing to have is a waterproof phone case. Also to go along with this you should have a waterproof bag to put your valuables into.

Oh yes, I agree on all of these! The Uniqlo bumbag is awesome and I've been wearing the Birks (EVAs) for like 3 years, LOVE THEM

I actually bought the Patagonia foldable totepack last year when I saw one of your vlogs, and I will tell you I LOVE IT! I took it with me to Brazil for a backpacking trip, it is so light weight and durable. it is my fav traveling pack. 💓

I loooved the SOLO bumbag!! But it got so wrecked after a couple of long trips so had to throw it away but it was so good! Hope you can bring it back!

I swear by Shamma Trail Stars Sandals for my minimalist footwear folks! I used to wear tevas, but now it’s all Shamma for me (run, hike, dance, and super cute casual-all in one!)

Love a bumbag and teva's. Good tips, I do nearly all. I wouldn't recommend air tags/tile, if you are not in distance you won't know where it is! I have been looking into GPS tag instead and might get that!

Just so you know going forward, the power bank is 'milliamp hours' aka 'mAh'. The amount of mAh is largely irrelevant though, you want to look at the 'wh' (Watt hours) instead. The maximum for most airlines is 100wh, although you can bring up to 160wh if you get permission ahead of time with a lot of places. My 25,000mAh charger is 92wh, for example, but other 25,000mAh power banks might be more or less wh. A lot of people will look at the mAh of their power bank and go "It is 4x more than the battery in my phone, so it can charge my phone 4 times" but it doesn't actually work that way in practice due to reasons that I don't understand and thus cannot explain haha.

One of my must haves is a travel router. I use the GL-Inet Beryl AX. I pay once for Wi-Fi wherever I'm at an then I share it with the people I'm with and you can connect your vpn to it as well. Nice little tool.

A good power bank is a must, I also can't live without my HomeFi hotspot. I can travel all around the U.S. and work remotely with it, it also fits in my pocket!

Going to the Philippines for almost a month and this video is gonna cost me!🤣 Birks I have been using already and they are amazing!🤩

Off to Iceland in about 10 days and my essential is definately thermal underware😀

Google Fi has been my go to for cell service, never have to worry about eSim/Sims that way.

She produced a video about this or included the info about it in an older video. I'm not sure when exactly. It has something to do with the original manufacturer going out of business, I believe. I could be wrong about specifics, but know that in general it was a manufacturer issue.

A Danish brand called Rains does amazing ones, even the zippers are waterproof. I’m using their rain jacket, waterproof rain hat & waterproof bumbag for years & love them all! The bumbag also has a waterproof zipper & their customer service for warranty is incredible as well!

I have a solo bum bag. I flove mine!!
