This video is about my several short trips around Norway that was in June 2024.
Some information about that places:
1. Tafjord is located inside the fjord municipality next to Storfjord on Sunnmøre. It was once important for the mild climate, for craft products, for nature and for farlidge. Tafjord is the center for Tafjord Krafts's electric sites, based on the unusual conditions and falls.
2. Gudbrandsjuvet is a river gorge in the river Valldøla. The visitor center and viewing platforms are part of the National Tourist Route along County Road 63 from Geiranger to Trollstigen. County road 63 crosses the river in a bridge over the gorge. Gudbrand bridge is a dry stone arch bridge built in 1919. The watery river flows between gorges and cracks in the mountain and meets from rather unexpected angles, before it flows under the bridge and plunges further down the valley.
3. Briksdalsbreen is a glacier arm of Jostedalsbreen within Jostedalsbreen National Park. Briksdalsbreen's top is approx. 1900 m above sea level. The glacier had advanced around 1910 and 1930, but retreated approx. 800 meters between 1932 and 1951. The glacier has been a well-known tourist destination since the 19th century and attracts 300,000 visitors annually.
4. Loen Skylift is an aerial tramway in Loen in Stryn, Norway. The cable car climbs 1011 meters (3,317 ft) to the top of Mount Hoven. With a gradient up to 60°, it is one of the steepest in the world.
5. Geiranger is a small tourist village that is very popular. Several hundred thousand people pass through the village every summer.
6. Dalsnibba mountain (1500 meters) offers a good view and is therefore a popular tourist destination. Dalsnibba is often covered by snow even in the summer...
