Amazing. Which handheld gps does he have
I keep a black cloth (bandana/shemagh) to cover my pack in case I'm leaving it in the floor of someone's truck or something, just to keep it out of sight. Plenty of other uses, too. Might even work with that lock to keep things secure. Any utility knife that takes standard blades, and you can have a blade simply with a stop at a gas station. Toss the blade before you get back to the airport.
So, I am not the only one that travels with a carabiner for dual purpose. I may have picked that up from Ron Hood 30 or so years back. The steel Search and Rescue carabiners are truly an amazing tool. Kevin is always enjoyable to listen to, he is on the same page as most of the better instructors.Remember, if someone is good enough to decode your keys from a KZread video, they are certainly good enough to pick your locks.
I always carry an EDC similar to this everywhere I go. I learned some Ideas to save wait and gain more utility with this load out. Well Done! The Lock Leash is an amazing Idea! Thank you!
Very well thought out video and I did pick up a couple ideas. The Tide packs are a great idea! I had been using a small refillable squeeze bottle with detergent but this is easier and far less likely to get messy!
one of the best EDC videos on contents and presentation!!!!
Great video. Wish you made a video like this for everyone at FieldCraft Survival.
Good load out, I would add a trash bag.
Best EDC video I've seen in a long time. Great work.

Thank you for sharing that with us, Kevin 👍
Brilliantly presented and well thought out. Several takeaways thank you
Good gear and very thought provoking I carry a bandana and a lock but the short leash seems sturdier might carry both .
Love to see it. I just grabbed the antero 2.0 for my edc
Nice!! I definitely don't sort my electronics properly and i haven't been using color coded bags. I'll be so glad when the trickle down from Europe forcing everyone to use usb-C charging ports. I didn't see a solar charger for your battery bank so i might be one up on you with that. I definitely still use the BiC with inner tube just like you taught us previously. My med kit typically has Anti chafing ointment that doubles as chapstick and wound antiseptic (get salty britches) nose spray and Sudafed the real stuff (in mass Sudafed works as an upper)
Hey man that’s a cool set up! Thank you for sharing! You have a lot of good, useful stuff in there and not just filled with a bunch of gear like a lot of people! Wouldn’t completely fit my needs but again, this is YOUR pack not mine! Thank you for sharing and stay safe Bro! You definitely have a new subscriber!
Nice, not focused on gear and selling, but the function and objective. Nice!
Those Tide packs are lifesavers when travelling. I might get a Grayl filter-see if it makes a difference drinking water in South America.
Wise setup, thanks
I get it to carry a tarp. There are many useful ways to apply a tarp for survival. What I don't understand is why almost every video they never mention a LifeTent or Mylar sleeping bags? If taken care of, Mylar can be used for extended periods of time, and Mylar takes less space, lighter, and for heat retention or waterproof, they are a perfect example of survival essentials
Great stuff. But here comes my tip. Whatever bag you have, regularly check on its contents. It is just as important as having the right stuff in the bag. If it is out of date, (say, a medication), you need to replace it. It also goes with a 'mental audit.' That is to say, if you have not used the item in the last (say) five years, out it goes. Short of that, it is always good to know where everything is and so, even in the half-darkness, you can go straight to it. This is one of the key things that people forget to mention about Go Bags. You can never find the dog leash, the padlock, and the jumbo packet of condoms, just at the very moment you need them.

Love my Antero. Have carried daily for about five years now. Two recommendations. Level 3 panel in the back sleeve, and a small sheet of Tyvek or Silnylon tarp for additional shelter.

Excellent review. Building a new pack now!
Very eye opening. Good info to have.
Love Kifaru gear its top tier gear for sure. Got 3 packs the tailgunner is my day pack
Great video. Kevin’s the 🐐
Awesome breakdown! Thanks!
Thank you for sharing. Definitely will use some of your ideas.
Love this video. Love the channel. Also had my first press of the Fieldcraft Survival coffee from BRCC today. Damn fine cup of Joe!
Excellent setup!
I love watching these kind of videos.
Your the better part of fieldcraft survival.
Excellent presentation!
Never thought of using a carabiner as... something else. Cheers for that mate.
Great job my friend. I even carry a big magnifying glass for fire. The lock and carabiner- brilliant, easy! Gives you the Ability to improvise. I will subscribe. Thanks for not being full of common sense fluff. Just looking at the contents makes you go over unexpected scenarios in your mind.👍👍 Each item has a Use! Great job
Love the video. Great information 👍 for sure!
Thank you
Thank you ❤
Great assortment of practical items that you would actually find useful. Curious about the trauma shears being TSA approved. Id love to bring a pair but hate the thought of losing it to a sloppy agent. The crappy thing is the TSA agent has final say on any item.

I think just about any non pointed scissors are acceptable. They don’t like pointy things. I once had some tiny cuticle scissors (I think that’s what they are called) confiscated but my full size trauma shears were no prob.
Garmin InReach! Love mine phenomenal emergency product and fun too.

Great video love these types of videos gives better ideas to what to pack what to not. But the leash and lock questionably strange😂
Thing on scissors, if you carry it on the plane it might be seized internationally. Checked is always fine but I’ve had medical shears and tiny scissors from multitools like leather man and victorinox seized. Sometimes they let you through, sometimes they don’t. Even with a full explanation.
Great kit
Oh I totally learned something great from this. I’m on planes 50% of the time. Time for a 🐕 leash and my trusty master lock. Thanks Kevin!

I wouldn't yet know what to do with some of those items but this video is so badass!
Great display of essential gear. So, where is your bivy, tarp & stakes for wilderness. I would suggest a down or synthetic sweater as well.
Exactly what Ive been looking for. I travel for a living so I always figured if my ultimate goal was to get home . To my home id need to carry more than just a bug out bag or edc tho. Maybe like an inch bag if vehicles aren't an option
Great video, you can tell you have adventure traveled a lot…
Great info thank you!

I’m surprised there wasn’t more snacks Kev! Gotta get more of the trail mix from class!
I do like your videos, thanks!
Kifaru has the best packs! I use the Door Gunner and Urban Ruck 2.0 for my EDC packs.
Add a P-51 can opener. Tiny and cheap, but if you need it like I have in the past, a game changer.
The grail water bottle is $100 😂. I love how expensive prepping becomes.

How do you use the leash, padlock and carabiner? I really want to know. 🥺
Hey Kevin, You didn't ask, but here's a suggestion for a video to make. You mentioned at the end that you had a means to make fire, build a shelter, etc. How about a video showing how you'd do it with exactly the things you had here plus your normal EDC? Like a simulated SHTF situation. Thanks!
To my surprise and amusement, when I wrote a list and compared to my bag, i discovered that they were the same. Felt like all the practice and experience becoming a blessing.
Great video.
Great video great pack ty
Wrapping the duct tape around a bic lighter is a great idea also✌️
THANKS! Nice light kit! ??? next time please provide list of items in description ! Saves us time having to look up each one on the googles! LOL!
Do you check this bag when flying or is it carry on? There is a few items here that I wouldn’t be allowed in carry on in Australia

very useful gear! congrats

Good stuff

Excellent!
I would add a few chemlights for a power outage situation, cheap to purchase and saves your batteries in flashlights if you are just hanging out in hotel room or camp
Awesome 😎
when you say legal for travel, does that include international travel or just US domestic travel? thanks for sharing 👍
One more point is that if you don't monitor email or are local to the community that you're in you probably WON'T be aware of any boil water advisories pushed out to the public. In Metro areas these BWA are very common.
Love this
I was surprised that I already carry many of the items in this bag. Might have to get that ti Grayl next.
I listened to you on Joe Rogan and just started watching your firearms training videos. I have watched hundreds of other tactical videos on all different peoples pages. You by far are a natural teacher and I got so much info from it. Things I have seen on other pages I thought were right but now know are wrong. Keep it up I can’t imagine how many people are learning in detail from you.
"Screech-banshee", love it!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Nice setup. What watch are you wearing.
Darn good stuff.
I also have two big battery chargers fully charged wherever I go. You said it yourself your phone is your main communication.
I keep the duct tape on old hotel card keys. When I'm not as limited for space I have a couple with wide Gorilla Tape, 1" gorilla tape, and electrical tape.

Just to confirm that these items meet TSA requirements. What do you do for a knife if you need one at your destination? The scissors or improvise with something else?
That was interesting. As a scrap hauler, mine is a little different. But that's because I;m only at most, 300 miles from home. However, if it's on foot, that is a long way to go.
Very good video ! Ty. What brand is your rain jacket ? Ty
You need the T60 from Coalcracker bushcraft. Super lightweight and would be perfect.
