Despite most places being closed due to a national holiday, we discovered that the true beauty of Granada isn't confined to its museums or monuments; it's woven into the very fabric of the city. With a rich history dating back to Moorish rule, Granada's iconic Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens tell tales of architectural brilliance and cultural fusion (We did not visit because of time and sold out tickets). But even as we explored the charming narrow streets of the Albaicín neighbourhood, we found history lurking around every corner in the form of centuries-old churches and cosy little squares.
