I love trying to keep our community clean! Wish I could do more! Picking up over 4 tons a day wears you down over time but I love this job! I love giving my customers the best service possible! Yea, I was about 19 when I went to Iraq. It was tough really tough, but I would do it again! And I’m glad your daughter came home safe as well! And thank you very much for those words they mean a lot! I truly appreciate you!

I think this is the first video I've ever seen of a toilet not getting smashed to smithereens in a trash truck. I'm also amazed that bathtub also survived mainly in one piece.

😆 That was my first stop of the day.. so there was nothing in the truck to crush it against… it just goes up the dump blade!

@@BulkyCrusher I liked how you gave us a better view of the dump at the end but we didn't get to see the whole dump. I was really looking forward to seeing that toilet coming out whole, but your video stopped before you got that far. In the future can you keep the camera rolling until the dump is complete and then back away and show us the entire pile?

Here is a new friend from holland i watched almost all youre video's past weekend it was great i saw so many couches getting crushed maybe its a fun idea/experiment to make a couch counter for next year just to see how many you throw in

I can look it again and again🤪he-he. At most, I enjoyed the part where the big red leather couch gets crushed. Nice one, in my opinion,not will be best to put the GoPro in a different place when unloading because it almost got taken down by the wood. Also nice to see some more plastic getting crushed, like a big blue bin and all those kids toys

If I was able to put it in a different location with that view I would.. But my truck doesn't have many spots to put the camera.. and this Is pretty much a good view Doesn't get in the way of anyone or anything else.. Its a risk I'm willing to take lol.. Around the 16 minute mark I saw a recliner couch, table and two desks go into the truck. They all looked to be in good condition until the compactor blade ruined them. On the rare occasion we had furniture to give away, my parents gave it to a refugee organization. Don't they have the same sort of thing in LA?

Like I Said before.. Every customer is Encouraged to attempt to Donate to any charitable organization (which there is, or at least was before pandemic, many) but once a customer schedules a pick it.. it is my job to then pick it up.. trust me there are lots of times I wish I could take it with me.. but it’s my job to pick it up.. if someone drives by and sees it they can go ahead and take it.. there are lots of times people actually do! Lots! I talk to lots of customers daily!

Ok.. will do.. It's pretty rare when I'm able to crush a Full size fridge. They have to be illegally dumped and Mising some components to safely Crush them... whenever I am able to I'll be sure to upload it.. Otherwise Metals, white goods and TVs are recycled!

Funny you ask that… happened to me about a month ago… Customer wanted some items picked up and when I went by.. the items were placed on their front yard near curb.. I grabbed them and CRUSHED THEM UP! Well next day customer called up saying I wasn’t supposed to take them.. 🤣 so yea it’s happened to me before! 😆

So how does it work? Do people call the city with a pickup? Do you have a regular route or do you just drive around looking for bulk items?

Yes, any customer can call whatever they need picked up.. or they can call for random items thrown around the streets.. We get anywhere from 70 to 100+ stops a day.. whena I'm complete and got time and room.. I drive around my areas looking for random stuff to pick up.. Thanks for watching! Appreciate you!
