    Aren't they beautiful?!! I'll have to show my wedding bouquet some time. I used nothing but Sola Wood Flowers for my entire wedding. They're actually quite affordable. If you hit the season before sales, you can get them for next to nothing. I got all the flowers for my bouquets, boutonnieres, cake, centerpieces, arches, everything for around $300. No joke, I was dying flowers for a week. You can get them already dyed the color you want but it's cheaper to by in bulk and just buy them raw. Lol I'm rambling.....I'M SORRY!! haha I'm so glad you enjoyed the projects Ms Franny. Thank you so much for you support!! ☺💜

    @@user-tz1oj9ls7i Oh I 100% do not mind the French!! I love it!! I've always wanted to go overseas and France has always been at the top of the list. I love learning about new places so I looked up Brittany, France on Google Maps. 😆 (I promise I'm not weird!!) The photos look STUNNING!! Are you close to the coastline? I love the architecture as well. So many old buildings and castles. We don't have anything that beautiful in Dallas, Texas. Hahaha Just a lot of high-rise buildings and traffic!! You've lived in some gorgeous places and now I'm jealous. I grew up on a dairy farm in Texas so we have land in the family. We don't run the dairy anymore but we still farm the land. It's beautiful and I love it, it's just very flat. Lol Again, thank you so much for you support sir/ma'am! I don't recall seeing your name and you totally don't have to tell me. Hey again! I was going to add to my original comment from BEFORE the video, but can't find it. Girl, I totally agree about it taking FOREVER to transfer on the cow skull and the letters... Mine even messed up like some of the lines on the letters just disappeared into thin air... They were not left on the plastic, so I dunno where they went. I had to take my black paint pen and do some touch ups. I'm hoping that you won't be able to tell the difference in sheen after I seal the entire suitcase. If you didn't see my previous comment, (I'm making a end table for craft storage out of a 1940's hard suitcase inspired by Sammie's project that she made with the Desperado cow skills months and months ago. It'll sit next to recliner where I craft and hold all of the supplies that I use every day.) Your projects turned out Stunning!!! I want to find another copy of the transfer so I can use both cow skulls on my cedar chest next. You've given me more inspiration to use the rest of the Transfer and I thank you very much❤❤❤ I'm truly stunned at how beautiful your projects are... I don't know why, because you are an amazing artist girl!

    That sounds so cool!! What a neat way to keep all your crafting items close!! Guuuuurl.......that transfer hurt me!! Lol!! Like literally hurt my hand. I had to stop a few times. That sucks that some of your words flew away!! Maybe on the back of you hand? I've done that before. 😆 I don't think you'll be able to tell. It may just depend on what you're sealing it with. You may be able to notice it but I don't think anyone else will. I pick apart my pieces like none other!! haha I looooove that transfer book!! It's totally my style so when I saw it, I immediately bought it. Then when I found out they were retiring it, I went searching and found a stockist that had them and bought two more. She actually had them on sale for $22 bucks too!! I bought the last 2 she had. I don't think Sammie had any because I think they retired it when she started ordering unfortunately, but I have seen others that still have it in stock. I still want to do a full size one with both sides of the skulls put together, kinda like the Pretty Little Poison picture I did, and then use the Sola flowers and some hanging berry florals on it but on a bigger scale. I saw another creator use both sides and wrote, "If I were a Cowboy, I'd be the Queen". I want to redo it in my style so bad. I loved it so much when I first saw it. Plus, I want to use the last one on a dresser with some elements of the Cowgirl papers from Roycycled. So many ideas, so little time. If only we were rich and could just craft all day every day and not have to worry about anything else. Lol!! Thank you so much for you continued support Ms Paige. You're amazing and your comments always make me smile/blush. You're so sweet. ☺💜

    I've never been interested in the Desperado transfers...until now! The b & w transfer with the Skelton Key is striking! Great use of Pennies From Heaven! What made you use the Gator Hide? I have nothing against Dixie Belle, I love Slick Stik! (And I also use Salvation Solution. I've become a DIY lady!) Love all your projects as usual. The cabinet door was awesome! You have so much patience (at least in crafting!). The clean look worked with these projects really well ❤

  • @LadyPoeDesigns

    I definitely use 98% DIY products, but I tend to use the Gator Hide when I know the piece is going to be around moisture. I was using it on a project one time, and I had messed up painting a line of the JRV paint, which is usually kinda hard to get off. I used a babywipe, and it came off like butter, and any moisture left behind just beaded up. My eyes got really big. 😆 I had to try spraying it with water. I directly sprayed it with water, and it beaded up and just ran off. I was pretty impressed. Not that it wouldn't do that with Liquid Patina or Big Top! I haven't tested it, though, so I may be pleasantly surprised. Who knows. I know that those do still seal the surface and make it wipeable, but the Gator Hide is specifically made for moisture. I just pictured this going on a bathroom counter and with the shower steam and such, I didn't want the transfers to peel. 🤷‍♀️ Those two are really the only two products I use from Dixie Belle. The Gator Hide and Slick Stick. Nothing against the brand. I'm not a brand snob. Lol I just prefer DIY 99% of the time. Thank you so much for all your sweet comments! They really mean so much to me. I try really hard not to let my picky self get too involved into the pieces and then I find myself handpainting every flower pedal! Lol 🤦‍♀️I'm really happy with how these turned out though. Sorry for the novel! Thanks again! Lol ☺️ 💜

    Ms Poe I luv luv luv all of your flips today. I had read that gator hide used with transfers is not recommended because the gator hide would lift the transfer after a bit of use. Have you found that out to be true?

    Oh my gosh!! Really?!! No, I haven't had any issues but oh my goodness, that scares me now!! Lol Thanks for letting me know that! I will definitely be doing some more research. 🫣 I hope they don't lift! I'll have to go back and look at other stuff that I've done and try to remember what I used the Gator Hide on and see if they've had any effect. Thank you so much Ms Donna!! • @LadyPoeDesigns

    @LadyPoeDesigns

    2 ай бұрын

    Yay! I thought distressing it would draw the eye away from the studs and the clean lines I was trying to keep throughout the collection. I'm glad you agree. I do like the Gator Hide for anything that I know is going to be around moisture. I pictured these going in a bathroom, maybe, and with the shower steam, I didn't want anything to peel. On a previous project, I had seeled with it and had to wipe off a boo boo and the moisture from the babywipe beaded up. 😳 lol Liquid Patina or Big Top may very well do the same, but I'm not gonna lie and say I've tried it because I have not. Plus, that's what the Gator Hide is specifically made for is to repell water. It does have a bit of a smell, but it's not overwhelming. Nothing any worse than like a polyurethane or something like that. I hope my rambling helped. 😆 Thank you so much for your support! 😊💜
