To those that wonder why every Scandinavian countries has a playful rivalry with Sweden in particularly then let me put it like this. Sweden is to Scandinavia what England is to the UK. Lots of history going all the way back to the middle ages and some of it is not very good. But it is far enough back in the past that there are no longer any legit hatred or bad blood. But the history is still there so it is now a friendly rivalry.

Finland is not playing, though. They were owned the longest and treated the worst. Like when one king imported Finns to profit off all our trees with the type of farming they were good at, burn trees down then farm. When they realised that the trees are worth more as lumber they wanted the Finns to eff off and made laws forbidding them to speak Finnish or own any literature in Finnish etc. Ironically like 75% of Swedes today have that Forest Finn ancestry. Some moved to Norway where the laws didn’t exist and there it’s become a protected minority. **would be part of said minority** Finns will refuse to serve you in some areas of Finland if they think you’re Swedish. Norwegians will sometimes get misbranded and have to convince the owners.

That'd be like saying "Norway has no mountains" when talking about mountains in Europe, comparatively speaking because of the much taller Alps. That's not even taking into account the vast area of forested mountains that make up much of the central-northern region.

To make the meatballs they tried in Stockholm for 50 dollars/euros (500Swedish kronor) a plate (5 medium sized meatballs per serving) you'll need Minced meat, the restaurant use either reindeer or wild boar, but for a more common mix, you can use a mix of 50% minced beef and 50% minced pork Minced meat Onions, (preferably banana shallots, normal shallots or normal onions) Garlic Breadcrumbs, (preferably homemade, but works with any) Spices; Rose pepper corns (use a little extra) All spice pepper corns black pepper corns *Cayenne (*Just a little if you want some spice) At high heat, you want to fry some finely chopped onions and garlic. Once the onions are softened, you can take them off and start mixing the ingredients until you get a fine paste like consistency. Once you're happy with that, wash your hands with the coldest water you can get, and roll the meatballs with wet hands (The meat won't stick to your hands as well, and you can pinch off some balls for a more textured surface, or roll them for a softer rounder texture. If well combined, they shouldn't fall apart, but when rolling, you can squeeze them to ensure they stay together. To fry the meatballs, you want butter and thinly sliced garlic in the pan, and you want to fry them until golden brown all around. For a sauce, you want to deglaze the pan with whole cream. Serve the meatballs with boiled potatoes, the cream sauce, some sliced pickles and lingonberry jam (If you can not source lingonberry jam, a cranberry jam works as a substitute, but it considerably more tart) I didn't write any measurements since I don't measure things myself, and I made this recipe after having the very expensive meatballs myself! Please let me know if you try them out!

I'd say. If ya go to Sweden. You gotta go to the "Ice hotel" up North. A hotel made of Ice witch is remake every year. You gotta visit our historical museums like the "Vasa museum", ABBA Museum and art museum. Try more delicacies more then just meatball and Cinamonbuns. Also try our delicious "Semla" and a Saffron like bun named "Lussekatt" and "Smörgåstårta" (a several layered sandwich cake) and our famous "Princesstårta"(Princess cake with layers of jam cream and vanillacream i think it is and cake bottom and some green martsipan to cover it in) We do skiing but we just gotta travel wither a bit to the north or to a Skiirrsort. We do have a lot of it just not as much as Norway. There is one in/just outside of Stockholm. You gotta go out in the winter then the snow is very white pretty and soft. Often a bit into the winter. We do have the "slush" season not as found of that. But I do love our Winter. As then it's at it's best is gorgeous and with the cold that comes with. It also makes me appreciate the Beautiful Summer we have. I haven't gone out as much as when I was little. But the seasonal changes makes me appreciate our climate.

Never been to Sweden in winter, been to Levi in Finland snowboarding in -40c. I grew up near Tromsø in Norway, my class went to London for 5 days and it was 30c, went to Manchester for the games last 2 days, was like 10-15c cold and windy, but we came from -20c up in Tromsø. By biggest shock was probably at around the age of 8 where I was in Alta Norway at -40c for Christmas, and on holiday in Singapore in easter where you met a wall of hot humid death where asphalt was practically lava to anything that melts.

PewDiePie is right about Stockholm and I would recommend to anyone that would like to visit Sweden to at least visit for a week and go to more places than just Stockholm because the Swedish culture is something that you can’t really experience just being in Stockholm because it’s way different there. I’ve been there myself and it’s very different from the rest of Sweden. I’d recommend if you go in winter time to go to the northern part of Sweden and live in ice hotels and ski and watched the northern lights and in summertime visiting south part of Sweden like Småland which is a land scape that is typical Swedish. It has the red cottage houses, many beautiful, lakes, and Meadows with flowers and also try camping in the summertime in Sweden and experiencing true Midsomer with true authentic non Stockholm people. And if you wanna eat something I highly recommend trying princess cake it’s a marzipan cake that is delicious and of course the cinnamon buns saft or coffee and the classic cake which is a whipped cream cake with strawberries on top. And in winter time you should try the semla. We do have mountains up in the northern part of Sweden. It’s just not as high as Norway sadly. But yes, you can go skiing in Sweden as well. And lastly, I recommend visiting more places than just Stockholm is because the people is different and the rest of Sweden.

Barely seem like Felix remembers what it's like to live in Sweden, i mean we have skiing but we in the south don't ski that much. I grew up in the most southern part of Sweden and it was closer for me to drive to Austria for a good ski trip than northern Sweden. And the darkness isn't that bad, at worst we go to work in the dark and come home in the dark but we have lights everywhere that time of year. It's actually quite beautiful. I agree that the whole "fika" thing is overhyped, it's just a coffee break.

For anyone curious about the Sweden vs Denmark rivalry: It basically stems from a large number of wars and various political dramas, primarily between the 1200 -to 1700's where we fought back and forth over piece of land at the southernmost tip of Sweden. Owning it could give control over the ocean passage, which in turn could increase a countrys economy by vast amounts thanks to being able to tax passing ships from Russia, Finland, Germany, Poland etc.
