I started out watching your channel because of the scrapping. I stayed because of your personality and how down to earth and upfront you are . The tidbits at the end are nice as it allows us to get to know you better. I love how you relate to people and Michael at the yard. The fact that you trust us enough to share is so awesome. I like your videos like they Are, Paul. I like you and that you share God and your ups and downs, your talks with Michael, that the scrap yard is your happy place… keep on doing what you do. You have me putting my occasional metal scrap on the curb and there is actually a guy who picks it up!

Hey Paul, All the things that you mentioned, the scrapping, your personal life and anything that keeps your mind occupied is what define the identity of your channel. And remember, you have 224k subscribers, which means that anything that is not a person's cup of tea will be just right for someone else. I mainly stick to your channel because the other guys are sometimes so hyper and too high strung, while your have more of an "I enjoy" approach instead of "I must". Please hold on to that. Things I enjoy most in your videos: The scrapping (obviously), the silly jokes and your enjoyable demeanor.

I’m old school. I enjoy your routine now. The tranquility time, the scrapping, Michael at the scrap yard, the disposing of the scrap, the music you sometimes incorporate with that, of course your conversations with us and the military stories, your highs and lows in life you share with us. Believe me, that is a plus because we are all human and nobody goes unscathed in this life on earth. I watch many a KZread and you are one of the few that keeps us human or me human whose homes aren’t pristine and the marriages/relationships aren’t either and life always looks glamorous. Because nobody’s life is. You treat us fairly with your honesty and being real. I hope I didn’t hurt your feelings in any way, I appreciate your honesty with the viewers. Take care!!

Hi Paul, I sit here, after watching your vlog......and, I watch every minute of it, as it gives me insight as to what you do, how you live, your scrapping, live with the dog, live with your "girlfriend", and your family. I enjoy seeing you try out a piece that you have found, cause it might be something you can use. I groan when I see something nice, and it goes in the scrap heap. I groan when I see nice pieces of furniture that you do not take, as its not scrap metal. Your interaction with Michael is wonderful.... I like all those ideas Paul. I find you and the channel very refreshing and genuine! You are real and unscripted. Just keep it that way and talk to us from your heart and life's experiences/journeys! Here's what I like. I like seeing the neighborhoods around you, and the houses, and the gooses. I like watching the seasons change out there in an area I've never been. Even in the southern Sierra, seasons in southern California aren't all that interesting, so I enjoy the colors and the weather you have. But, most of all, I just like hanging out with Mr. Paul for a bit. You are a breath of fresh air - so positive and kind - and I just feel better after listening to you. As an atheist, I don't get anything out of your Jesus talk, but I enjoy hearing it anyway, because it makes you happy, and it's nice to hear a happy person. So, just keep doing what you are doing - the thing.

I like the scrapping,but love listening to you talk about real life. I find your voice rather soothing as well.

I enjoy your channel because you keep it real. The good , the bad, and the ugly. I'm always interested to see what people throw away. Your soothing voice as you ramble is comforting as you talk about daily issues. Not crazy about the prayer you do at the end.(I believe that should be silently and private.) You have opened my mind to tying knots. Even went and bought me a big rope and gloves and clippers.( hidden under my front seats....just in case I see something.) I m not crazy about the 20 second tranquility moments....I got stuff to do! So I fast forward that, the dumping part, and the prayer part. Love everything else. Would love to see your pup come with you occasionally. Love to hear a man's perspective on relationships. (Opens my eyes to stuff I wouldn't had thought of.) Glad your always so positive and willing to help out. (Not many in recovery are.) Stay strong and warm. Sure do miss Chicago land corn fields.

Also would love a slight detour in the router area of the building pointing out what else is $$$$ Scrapable.(Never occurred to me to stip wires down!) Or grab plumbing pipes. Now that you have a garage, I would get rid of your "office". Money is money, you could put that towards your kids or your retirement. Love when you scrap with your buddies and the humorous jiving you both do!

I'm liking what everyone is saying...I started out interested in the scrapping a little when scrolling by, but your personality, humor, comments etc. drew me in. Hey Paul, You keep doing your channel the way you've been doing it. Your prayers at the end help me in ways you don't know. Love how you talk about your recovery, as of 10/15/22 will be 22 years sober for me! Thought about drinking the past couple of years with my lady passing away in 2019 and then my best friend and sponsor passed away in 2020. Starting watching your videos and at first I wouldn't listen to your prayers cause I was having issues with the man upstairs, but anyway please keep doing your videos the way you do. Thank You.

Paul if it has to do with you, such as your scrapping, family, music, put on your channel! We know we can look forward to your words of thanks at the end of the video, so whatever you want to share with us…do it!! Also, concerning Olivia’s ear infections, they are usually caused by yeast infection. My dog used to get 5hen a lot. Pre and pro biopics helped. Give her plain yogurt. It’s good for them and they like it!
