At this point in his career, Hopsin is known for making his own beats. Second, Hopsin stated in an IG story or something that he's done with the traditional way of putting out an album and focusing on doing it this way, releasing singles with music videos to get people more accustomed to the songs. He said this idea started when he used to tour and hardly anyone in the crowd would know any of the songs that didn't have a music video. Hop doesnt just record music, he put his heart into it so if people aren't listening to all his music then he's not gonna stick to the pave road many artists has laid.

Actually the snippet he used for the song is an italian song called Bella Ciao and it was a song used by the Italian Resistance during Second World War and the lyrics talks about freedom and resistance of the soldiers. Afterwards it became one of the symbols of the Italian liberation from dictature

I hadn't really seen much Hopsin since ill mind 7... but I saw this and nearly shat myself. Everything he does leaves me speechless. It's funny, after this dropped I went back and listened to his stuff again, saw he released another song "alone with me" and nearly died laughing because I'm one of the "weird white kids" that likes hopsin XD Honestly my biggest thing for hopsin is that he puts so much conviction behind his words, and has some insane clever rhyming schemes. You can't NOT respect the shit out of him. Also the contacts were something that I felt set him aside. Like he was doing his own thing being out there and different (my first thought of him when my cousin showed me around the time he came out with ill mind 4... was "dude is the marylin manson of hip-hop.
