I am 65, live in the U.S. Mother of 5, grandmother of 9. I’m just starting to hand quilt. I need to make 13 quilts before I kick the bucket 😁

Lucky you they are a real work horse
My machine has two speeds-fast and faster! How I would love a machine that went along like that! What machine are you using?

I'm using a Janome 8900.memory craft. They don't make them anymore they have been superseded by the next model 9400. Lovely machine and worth every penny

Michelles Patchwork I had a janome before I moved to Australia. I sold it! Never occurred to me I could have bought a cord for it! It’s the brand I’m getting next! Thank you for your reply!

The fabric is 100% cotton. The wadding is wool and cotton, the backing fabric is cotton also. The sewing machine i an using is a Janome Horizon MC8900. I hope that answers what you needed to know. Cheers Michelle
