FINALLY! Watched this movie few years ago and for a low budget movie, they delivered a good plot and concept. Sure it was goofy sometimes but it was one of those low budget movies that it's either a hit or a miss, no in-between, and this was surely a hit for me. A bigger studio should consider rebooting this with better cgi and a longer runtime, with more explanation and exploration at the ending.

Exactly. It's amazing to see that a few of us have this exact same view. A bigger studio, a bigger budget, a more indepth story, a more intelligent script and an all star cast. I like how the movie had the good ending. Not only did humanity gained the Fountain of Youth and got to know about the Anomaly the protagonists experienced (something rare for this kind of stories), but the whole group survived, and became celebrities in the future.
It’s actually sad to think about, their families lived out the rest of their lives thinking something awful must’ve happened to them. They would never have that closure. Also BOSS the dog probably ended up lost in the forest never finding his owner. That really hurts the most 😢

I watched this years ago and enjoyed it. I remember the main guy (Taylor) as the kid who played twins in that episode of Law & Order: SVU called “Identity” where he played twins (a boy and a girl) but it turns out that the girl was actually born with both male and female parts and their parents chose to make him a female. There’s also a murder involved in this (2 actually, one at the beginning and then one at the end) which leads to the discovery of THAT big secret. The girl twin ends up choosing to be a boy and it ends with them both being identical twin boys and covering for each other after one of them murdered their therapist who was doing weird stuff to them in therapy.

Um, you completely left out Hopper's sister, the very reason that Hopper's parents are looking for the Fountain Of Youth. It's because she is sick and is going to die, so this is their last resort. Unfortunately, this results in them becoming time-trapped. Also, Hopper's discovery of the van is the opening shot of the film. Taylor fractures two of his fingers on his left hand, while Jackie fractures her ankle. These and several other small but important details you left out or mixed up. But still a fun recap. It's fictional lol😅. The "time move faster" thing is just about the feeling. Like.. when you on earth, you feel 365 days. You know how long is that. And also how long the time per day. But if you suddenly move to like.. Venus for example, because the rotation and stuff different from earth, you feel different too. It's what scientists talk about when they says "time is relative". It's by your own perspective. NOT BY THE ABSOLUTE TIME PROGRESS. The time moves normally for all region in this universe. But the creatures that feel different. It's like.. human experience the life of 80 years. But insects, like bee for example, only 30 days or something. Soo for bees, each day matters a lot. And talk about space travel, it's also like that 😅. You feel like you've been travelling for just 30mins. But because space is void with sprinkles of shiny stuff, and also because your spaceship moves super speed, you feel you just travelling for 30mins. Actually,it's more than 30mins. And btw, no normal earth clock in the space btw. Since that clock n calendar is only for earth inhabitants.

Euphemism for my asshole.
the giant was the one who sacrificed everything. it was a suicide mission for him. time moves way faster outside the cave, so everyone in his family was already dead outside. if i'm guessing correctly, his mission would be to bring back the original humans, the ones who had the rich culture and were sane and kill everyone else and die with them.
It's a lot more than 1000 years. The characters realise time is passing at one year every couple of seconds. 200,000 years would be closer to the mark.
The future humans didn't seem to try very hard at trying to get at that fountain of youth/regen. They sent one goon, then just gave up.
One of the best underated sci fi movie
The whole concept of this movie is crazy cool🔥
I've watched this a few years ago and it easily became one of my most favorite movie.
This movie I thought it was going to be very bad but it surprised me , it was entertaining actually
The most unrealistic part of the movie is that the battery of the Go Pro lasted for days. That’s real sci-fi stuff.

Maybe he charged it with the car battery or something
Saw the movie a year ago. One of my favorites. Amazing concept
I really enjoyed this movie. I thought it was great how they demonstrated the time change with the glow stick and how it appears to hang in mid-air and then move away from them as they try to get it back.
I love this movie. Finally a new idea and something different for a change
8:08 Just a heads up, the reason they realized it was the seasons was because the sun was moving as a bar up and down. The bar being the Sun's movement over the course of a day (so fast, it appears as a bar) anf the seasons being the fact that the bar oscillates back and fourth, as the sun does throughout the year causing the seasons.
1:57 Furby ? 😂 that laugh
Time Trap…. Entertaining. I would have loved for the film to explore the inner cave system where ancient people were still trapped. Time dilation is a trip..
this video is the first time where i've seen the guy actually break character

I fuxkin love movies like this..thanks for the breakdown cuz I probably wouldn't have seen it otherwise
LOVE THIS TYPE OF MOVIES😜
honestly unless space life is so magnificent and luxurious, I might just off myself after a few years of living it. I just can't bear the idea that my entire life has been gone for centuries, family, friends, entertainment, literally my world.
I'm so lucky I SAW this movie with no idea what it was about. The trailer and even the MOVIE poster gave too much away. I went in BLIND and was totally surprised and delighted at this movie.
For anybody wondering, the movie is called "TIME TRAP"
Bruh they could have revived the dude in spacesuit

I think it was because the helmet was broken and even if they did revive him he would have still die because he couldn’t breath earth air
I have seen the movie, but you really made it exciting again!
