I loved this lecture. A hospitalist here who just got a patient who has D-TGA (adult) who had baffle procedure done years ago. I wanted to learn more about it and I'm actually geeking out at this right now because of this lecture. Thank you for educating me.
I'm a nerd, I loved this! Hope to be a CT surgeon when I'm out of high school!
Thank you for recording and sharing this, it was a helpful overview with accompanying diagrams to understand L/D-TGA and the arterial switch operation.
Wow! After hearing more about L-TGA... I see that I am lucky so far. It was discovered 24 years ago after an emergency C section for my twins.

Good video and thank you for the statistics about the late outcomes of TGA arterial switch operation. There are way too little studies and openly accessible information about this out in the internet, and for some reason cardiologists are somewhat reluctant to share that information to the patient..
I have ccTGA, VSD, Pulmonary Stenosis, Mitral Valve regurgitation, Dextra Cardia. (FOR maybe ). I'm 55. No surgery, two children. I'm collecting more conditions as I go through life.

@@anahitvardanyan6399 hi I am four months pregnancy and my fetus has complete TGA (D-tga). Many doctors told me to terminate my pregnancy 😮...am confused...this is ivf donor cycle
