This red cylinder is to give weight to the gun since it is made of plastic/ABS and the firing system is apparently spring loaded.

How does bro not know how to use a speed loader lol have to twist the part you hold

No. Almost all of the reviews say it breaks easily and breaks before it gets there

Not sure if you got it yet, but I would, but be careful with it. If you drop the gun many times, you might let something loose inside. If that happens though, try to fix it looking at the transparent model. Otherwise, it should be fine.
