Some tips from a mom of a 2.5 year old girl. You want to transition them to a crib around 4 months-6months. I did it right at four and my daughter has slept in her own bed ever since for 10-12 hours a night. Mittens and swaddles are really just for newborns but I did like sleep sacks for a few months until she was maybe 10 months. Then they are like almost a toddler and can do so much more lol. You guys are doing great! Its so funny to see other first tike parents because me ans my fiancee were the same way haha but now she ls a wild child and we dont worry as much! Number one tip give yourself some grace! Its very hard being a first time oarent because you worry about everything, postpartum anxiety etc hits really bad and you wont even notice it but just dedicate time to yourselves sometimes. Dont make everything about baby, I know its hard but it helps with peace of mind

Kylah is growing up so fast she is going to be tall, since she's turning over on her own her next step will be crawling and then when her legs get stronger she will be pulling herself up she is so adorable, caution~ when Kylah starts crawling in the floor make sure y'all put those plastic plug in things in the outlets I would hate for her to put her little finger in them you both are already prepared for that I just thought about that She has no trouble turning over she's a strong girl Tricia she has your beautiful eyes and your big smile we got to brag on our babies Right LOL y'all have a happy and blessed day!

The pack and play has to be lower she can start to peak out and then pull herself out and down she goes. The phone keep it far away from her or put it airplane mode. Why not just put the crib in ur room and the pack and play in the living room. Then later move her crib back.

As a parent of three, my advice to the both of you is not to have Kylah sleep with you in the bed, it will create a bad behavior later on. I’m not trying to tell you what to do with Kylah because she’s clearly your beautiful daughter, but from experience it’s not the best! Love you guys🤗💕🙏🏼

This is what I was going to say, if there’s no problem with her sleeping in the pack and play or when you put her in her crib please don’t put her in your bed. It’s all cute at first but when you all feeling “peckish” and can’t do it because Kylah is in your bed and you will have to go someplace else, it’s not going to be cute then.

Yep my daughter is 14 now but I'll never forget when she was 3 or 4 mths old my mom worked night shift and when she got home in the middle of the night she woke me in a panic asking where my daughter was. Turns out she was under my leg sinking into the back of the couch. I never slept with her again after that. It's just bad all around really when they are young.

I still recommend the Bumbo seat. She wants to sit up so bad and it will support her so good. Also when you put it on the countertop it doesn't slide around because of the material it's made of. Also that comes with attachments if you want to buy them as well. Like a tray and such.
