Binge watching content I had missed 😩😩 transitioning saved me, i was not going to start from scratch. Did it for 7 months although I had initially thought I would last for a year. I also didn’t do the LCO method while relaxed. My routine was fairly good though but I know better now.

Ayanda Makhanya I can relate with that. I also had a fairly good routine, did my hair mostly myself at home. Even started deep conditioning (it was called treatment) when I had relaxed hair. But I was also not willing to bug chop🙈😂 Thanks for watching🙏🏽💕🤗

Before my “healthy” relaxed hair journey moisturizing my hair was a myth😂😅. Now I used the LCO method to moisturize my hair.

Amanda Manka you are definitely a more informed relaxed hair person sis. The closest to making effort was doing a treatment on my hair everytime I had it out🙈 I was definitely clueless

Relaxed hair is damaged hair and like heat damage on natural hair it can’t be fixed. Nothing can be done about the hair that’s already out . Brands are trying it, even with those split ends serums 😂

The Social Distraction have you actually come across such brands that claim to convert relaxed hair back to natural? Thanks for watching 🤗💕

Hey, hope you good. I'd like to know ukuthi once you stopped using heat on your hair during transitioning how were you managing combing it after washing it as in to avoid some pain from the ends of relaxed hair

Hey babe, to be honest I didn’t have my hair out a lot during transitioning. I didn’t want to deal with the 2 textures so I would always braid my hair. But a leave-in conditioner with good slip would be great to help.

I'd like to know ukuthi since you always braided your hair during the transition how long were you keeping the braids on and also normally after unplaiting the hair how were you washing the hair so that you're able to braid again until it has reached the length you wanted and how were you combing it since heat appliances were being avoided (not used anymore)
