Transgender people in Britain explain why transphobia is on the rise in the U.K. | Perspective

The Washington Post’s Hannah Jewell spoke to Juno Dawson, Freddy McConnell and Azekel Axelle about how the British media and government have fueled rising transphobia.
Dawson is a bestselling author whose most recent book is called "What's the T? The No-nonsense Guide to All Things Trans And/or Non-binary for Teens."
McConnell is a father and journalist who has campaigned for the rights of transgender parents in Britain.
