TRANSFORMING YOUR FAMILY: MAKING JESUS THE CORE OF YOUR HOUSEHOLD
The greatest prayer we can offer for our family is to make Jesus the center of our lives and homes. This transformation begins with us as individuals. To truly make Jesus the center, we must show genuine interest in spiritual matters and seek a deeper connection with Him.
The first step is to cultivate an interest in Jesus and His teachings. By doing so, we invite Him into our lives and homes, allowing His presence to guide and teach us. The Bible promises that if we seek God with all our hearts, we will find Him. Humility is essential in this journey.
Jesus calls us to come to Him with our burdens and to find rest in His presence. By humbling ourselves and seeking Him, we open the door to a transformative experience. This humility allows us to learn and grow in our faith, regardless of our spiritual background or level of involvement in religious activities.
As we come down from our high perches of pride and self-sufficiency, we become open to the hidden things of God, which He reveals to those who seek Him.
The change begins with us, not our spouses or family members. By inviting Jesus to be the center of our lives, we become instruments through which He can work in our families.
