@@muskheadroom It's possible, but I doubt it because malwarebytes found spyware even after I uninstalled it. I also want to add that my pc was not working properly while it was running and installed. I could not see or use my task bar, and it took nearly 5+ minutes because my desktop icons returned. This was all after reboot and installation was finished. It seemed to have locked me out, froze my pc, and it was with the arrow spinning for minutes. It did not feel right. My windows is Win11 22H2

I think you should restore the normal theme before update. If don't, somethings after update will be broken

I virustotal'd the URL, nothing caught. but that isn't saying everything that gets loaded is safe. ran the command inside the parenthesis and there were flags on communications for something called getw7.exe ... I'm sorry, but this just SCREAMS run this and join my botnet or let me into your computer.

its just a reskin, some assets of windows 10 is still involved. and if you want to go back just use the same command you installed the skin with or use system recovery. best recommended method is the one shown in the video.

Then all you need next is the 8gadgetpack thing and you're set. I actively use it myself and it actually still has some use to me.

Useless for me, as I only used Windows 7 in the classic view. The classic view in Windows 7 was very similar to the Windows 2000 user interface. I really regret that Windows 10 doesn't have that.

the icons in the taskbar are too small for it too look accurate, which can be fixed with 7+ taskbar tweaker with the flag "w10_large_icons" set to 1

It doesn't do any of those. It just applies a Windows 7 theme on your machine and that's all.

now try it with windows 11 24h2 bet it wont work or breaks the windows install completely since they changed things around/block programs that change the taskbar/start menu/file explorer

I tried this software, and I was kind of impressed. It did not work as I had hoped. The theme design was nice, but the taskbar buttons on the upper right were Windows 10/11 style and some text could not be seen. Also, my taskbar was gone most of the time and as soon as I uninstalled Start all back I lost my taskbar. I could not make much if any changes, and Windows 11 took longer to load. I tried on Windows 11 it could be a problem, but it may not. I am not sure. I had to uninstall it to fix my PC.

People don't realize that windows 8/10/11 is just an upgraded Windows 7 desktop with a visual overlay

Bring back the Windows 8.1 start menu by installing open shell and decreasing opacity to 0 and switch the menu theme to Windows 8 if you want a Windows 8.1 feel on Windows 10 technically Windows 10 basically is Windows 8.1 Microsoft SHOULD of called it Windows 9 though not Windows 10 technically Windows 11 is the REAL Windows 10.

Windows 8.1 never had a start menu. Instead, it had the start screen, which is included in the Aero8 theme here.
