Love the CJ10. Sold into Australia early to mid 80's to compete with the Toyota Landcruiser. I have two CJ10's. The white '84 is a standard cab/tray, but the metal green one is getting 300mm (1ft) cab extension with a shortened aluminum tray. Looking forward to more video's of your build....;-)

That is awesome. Right now I am looking for a transfer case and working on the next steps.

Drove those when I was in the Air Force. They replaced tractors towing flight line equipment. The Jeeps were replaced with Fords and then Dodges.

Great project. You have yr work cut out for you. I have a 85 still used for pulling planes around. Looking for a way to cover the seats. They're shot. I wonder if there are any replacement upholstery kits available.

Thanks, getting started on it is taking longer than expected. Looking for a transfer case.

I have read somewhere that the existing transfer case is bolted in low range. I think you remove the block and it works like a normal transfer case. Of course you have to add the selector lever. Looks cool. any updaters?

Thanks, I looked into it and have to replace the transfer case. I am looking for a used one rather than purchasing a new one once I find one I can start on the build.
