Use a hole punch on some type of plastic to adjust the position of the gearknob, or can use a nut under it to tighten it at whatever angle you like

Cool car. Great workmanship. Could you not fit switch on dash for overdrive. Drop a spacer into gear knob, mabie even ball bearing and try and get it to tighten so that gear patern is right way up. Keep up with videos. 👍

Couple good ideas there! still have the plug in for under the dash, didn’t even cross my mind to mount it elsewhere, i was told it was never used! there’s a different sticker colour going on anyway!
