Transforming a 2005 Mercedes SLK - Wait Until You See the Results!

In this video, I detail a tatty 2005 Mercedes SLK 200 and give it a complete makeover.
This car, although well loved, had been sitting up for the past while. The paint was badly contaminated with ingrained dirt, moss and algae, and the elements had taken their toll on some trim pieces.
I start by giving the car a 2 stage wash, before applying a clay bar and 2 coats of autoglym high resin polish. I also polish the headlights and tail lights and address some faded black trim using self adhesive vinyl.

Fantastic video from start to finish and the car is looking fantastic Ross, thank you for sharing this detailing session.
Nice job Ross - you could have improved the result by taking of the wheels and cleaning & polishing them also from the inside😅. Personnally I would recommend a sponge or soft pad of micofiber for applying the polish and different types of dent microfiber towels for finishing the paint😅. Cheers from Germany
Love your Videos Ross. Bought a Silver SLK of my own one month back and I'm gradually bringing it back to its former glory. Liked the T-Cut of the headlights - Will definitely give that a go. 👍

It's grown on me over the years. She had an MGF beforehand, which I loved.

Good information.... I am your big fan from Nigeria. Currently, I am have challenges with my mk2, and everything is like happening at the same time. My stringrack was changed and things are Falling apart for my beloved car. 😢. Please, can tell me what happened if suddenly my power string fuild just increased and to turn the string wheels is now very hard. Again I am still hearing some noise too from the water pump but my engine didn't overheat 😒 please, help me out with knowledge thanks.
