when an 80s kid movie has the guts to kill Optimus Prime, and a PG-13 super violent movie doesn't have the guts to commit to Optimus becoming evil, you know you've done something wrong.

I watched your reaction to the movie first , then this reaction and it’s the perfect way to see all of this at this point lol. Honest Trailers pretty much sums it up hah. The timeline is 2 seasons of G1 then the movie, then season 3 picks up right after the Moche and handles the fallout from the movie. Oh.. and they showed a short clip in honest trailers explaining why they killed so many characters, but I believe that clip is from the Netflix show The Toys that made us. They go all in on what happened with this movie and how it impacts choices on the animated GI Joe the movie. It’s worth checking out if you haven’t seen it yet. Fun reactions on both of these though. Keep up the good work.

There is only one Transformers media you want to know nothing about. Kiss Players. That's all I'll say about it.

Lenard Nimoy also play Sentinel Prime. But this movie stands the test of time.

To be fair Springer did get a leadership role eventually... As the leader of the autobot A-Team/Suicide Squad.

Years ago I saw a demusiced version without most of the rock. They left in the 2 "the touch" themes to bridge Optimus and Rodimus but scrapped the rest and left the original score in. I have to admit it was better. On a more somber note as I've gotten older I have to admit the idea to brutally kill off established characters was a bold and good one. They could have just written them out, but that's frankly lazy. Instead, they took the opportunity to make a statement. Let's be grown ups here. They made a statement that these guys are at .... war. This isnt a slap fight, the reality of war is people die. They dont get wounded and then laugh it off, they dont "fall asleep," They die. And it isnt just some guy you've never heard of before. Your friend could die in a very brutal way. YOU could die in a very ugly way. That is the reality of war. I was there in the theater when those kids had that ice bucket dumped on them. I was one of them. It's a hard lesson but that's reality.

there was 1 full season and one, i think 3 or 4 episode season that was the last one. before the japanese series that some were translated to english

Right!! It was the only right thing to do, lol! It was weird watching without the well known characters for me.

Notice they didn't mention Leonard Nimoy as Galvatron? That's because he was *awesome* The TV show Galvatron was... a let down.

Still the best transformers movie

Daniel is Spike's son, and Spike's real name is Sam Witwicky, always has been. They just didn't call him Spike in the Bay movies. Also, I still have all my Transformers from the 80s, mostly gen 1 and 2.

I wish Transformers and TMNT would switch media styles.. TMNT come back to actual live action and Transformers go full CG animation

They're doing that with Transformers next year.

It's actually called The Transformers: The Movie Why use the word "The" twice in the same title The sharkticons pictured here were actually aliicons as in alligator cons

I only watched about half of this movie, and I think I like the Michael Bay movies better. I am sorry.
