Good review! This version is much better than the AOE one. I just wish some parts in robot mode we're cast in black, like the AOE versions, more specifically the arm joints, knees, head or hands.

The original has a better robot mode with the paint apps. The new one has a better alt mode.

This version looks really cool! I didn't get the AOE version. I may have to get this one.

Thanks for reviewing this. I need more autobots and this Crosshairs looks a lot batter than the original. Plus Crosshairs is probably my favorite of the new bots (tied with Hound)

Wow you got a loose tire? Me too but on the other side but still on the back. I guess it could be a universal problem. Yeah, I can vouch on this review. This version is the definitive crosshairs compared to the last one.

Did you order it at RToys?

Your AOE Crosshairs can have its shoulder pads angled down, it may be an issue on yours if not then it's mistransformed.

I want a version of Crosshairs that's an amalgamation of his G1 & Movieverse selves. He'd have the color scheme, alt mode & Targetmaster partner of 80s Cross with the goggles, car door coat & twin pistols of Bay Cross.

Can the guns peg into the roof? And the forearms are not asymmetrical anymore. That's a little downside.

I was thinking that too! I think it would work, not sure tho; plus I don't think the greens completely match, but if you can I think that'd make this one for sure the superior figure.

It's a C7 Corvette! Also, the figure is fine, it's just more accurate to the real vehicle and has more paint.

I never wanted the first one, mostly because of the trench coat. This one actually looks pretty decent.

Hey! I think that you should get the leader Megatron. The Optimus is just the AOE leader class, but with no chrome, yet it's twice the price. I think you should get Leader Megatron and The Takara Calibur Optimus Prime. Hope that helped!

He already reviewed TLK Leader Megatron (Hasbro), and he reviewed the TLK Leader Calibur Optimus (Takara Tomy where the backpack turns into a shield, unlike the Hasbro version). I don't think you could have completely missed out on the Voyagers, but if you did the Leader Megatron isn't bad as long as you don't have a problem with the *giant* cannon on the arm (isn't movie accurate but might remind you of the G1 Megatron). The Hasbro leader Optimus isn't really that good, though (in my opinion). The Hasbro Voyager and Takara Tomy Calibur Leader are both better. By the way, chefatron didn't like the Leader Megatron since he loved the Voyager way more, but did like Calibur Optimus. Hope this helped!

Mixey Boy I personally find myself liking the aoe version more

On the aoe, if you push the shoulder wheels back one more click, you can clear the shoulder pads and let them fold down more.

Luke Lengic According to Hasbro at San Diego Comic-Con, Cogman is part of wave 4, but he is alone in that wave. Crosshairs, Drift, and New Bumblebee are in wave 3.

Damn. Can we go back to the quality of figures from rotf and dotm? I just bought the mpm3 bumblebee and called it there. These new figures aren't worth it. Even the new bee has bad paint apps. I guess this crosshairs is technically an improvement, but it's like going from 2 pounds of shit to 1 pound. The only reason crosshairs almost gets away with being a shell former is because he basically is one in the movie. The first one is trash, vehicle doesn't even look like a corvette.

Nice to see the comment section is as full of spoiled kids who don't know what budgets, profit and overall business stuff is as ever. You couldn't satisfy this fandom if you gave them the Moon(base 1)on a stick to them.

Matt TooFast4U You make it seem as though this kind of stuff is difficult to understand. However it is impossible to deny that the approach that Hasbro takes to produce some of these toys is just rushed and lazy. Some of their strides to increase profit by cutting costs have drastically decreased the look and feel of their products. This figure is under painted, the engineering makes it look like a hunchback with big shoulder wheels, and it’s overall just... ugly. Sorry for the rant, just hate it when people bring down others just to elevate themselves. It isn’t cool, guy.

God this figure is so defective,not even any instructions. All that aside I must have this figure.
