I prefer the car mode for her, but I do like how they took elements of her original car mode and put it into the motorcycle, like the large windshield shape and other details. They didn’t just give her a new alt mode and make it completely different and unrecognizable.

Easily the most underrated female transformer. Glad she’s getting more spotlight roles as of late. Hopefully Thunderblast can join her in getting more roles. Great video as always!

@@scotttemplin8331 Chromia's arc being a mirror of Starscream was the best thing to have happened in the franchise. He MAY be a jerk, but nobody asked what would happen if the seeker was put in charge of Cybertron since in the comic, he was constructed cold. His treacherous personality often led to his own comeuppance in the form of destruction, but sparing him is actually fitting for such a backstabber since killing him will leave behind a vengeful ghost.

It's incredible how Chromia has become a staple Transformers character, standing besides Arcee, Elita-1, and Windblade in being one of the best known female Autobots of the franchise.

Modern Transformers only seem to do same sex love, Optimus and Elita Ironhide and chromia these are never brought up. Hell Arcee get passed around like a party favor.

Outside of G1, my only exposure to her was the Netflix series. She didn’t have much to say but she was a badass marksman. I would love to see her used more in future stories.

I liked the irony in IDW. She did all that because she didnt trust Starscream, but then he pardons her of the crimes she did because of how she felt about him. Nice double development

I love Chromia. Really underrated character and I'm glad she gets more love these days. My favourite look for her is her IDW design, even if it just exists due to a retool. Saren Stone's Chromia is the definitive Chromia in my eyes.

Great B-day present, Chromia is my favorite female TF character, I think in some ways TF prime arcee was influenced by Chromia.

I loved her so much,and I wish she appeared more in animation And I really wish to see more of her and Ironhide together alongside her relationship with her team Linda Gary is Chromia Period!!!! Her sisterly relationship with Windblade is everything to me,same with her romance with Ironhide

For me, Chromia was my favorite female Autobot introduced in the Search for Alpha Trion. Tough as nails, I loved her spunk against the Decepticons. It's a shame that we never got an aftermath between the female Autobots and their partners in the g1 run. I'm sure she would've been devastated by the loss of Ironhide yet proud he want out with a bang. Very glad she's now getting the spotlight she deserves.

Unfortunately, we never see them again in the show. Does this mean the Decepticons found them and put an end to them or do they still remain in hiding, continuing their guerrilla war to this day?

One of my favorite characters. She truely clawed her way up into prominence. I hope she's added to Transformers Reactivate one day when it releases.

Chromia certainly had quite a long journey to get where she is now

I just reliased now that Sandman in Spider-Man 2 (PS5) is similar to Windblade in Cyberverse because both of them had their minds literally shattered and needed the fragments to be collected

She deserves more screen time!

Chromia was pretty awesome. I'm still bummed that Elita's unit wound up getting wiped out during their mission in the War for Cybertron anime series. So many cool characters got killed off in that vein mission to stop Shockwave.

My son and I write and draw G1 based fan fiction together, mostly last summer while he was out of school. We had a story idea for Ironhide and Chromia & Springer and Arcee taking on a fleet of alien monsters. We called the story, 'Double Date'.

Near the end of IDW 1.0, Chromia also partook in the final battle against Unicron. Edit: At least Chromia in _Cyberverse_ didn't stage a terrorist bombing to make Windblade go home to Caminus.

I love how a simple repaint or retool issue of an obscure character at botcon is responsible for so many of these characters seeing the light of the day after decades and end up becoming an integral part of the lore.

Hope she gets more recognition & screen apperances. Shes an underated badass. 💙

Anyways, I just wanted to say that this video was absolutely awesome. I really enjoyed all the information about Chromia, just because she is a character that I don't really know much about, especially for the fact that I remember watching the episode that you mentioned and recently rewatched it too. However, I honestly never got a chance to watch the Cyberverse animated series, which you talked about and did not know that she was in it. Anyways, thank you once again for this wonderful video and I hope that everyone in this great community has a terrific day and fantastic weekend. Can't wait for the next video to come out. Basics on the Technobots

One of my favorite Transformers.🤘

Chromia in my opinion, is a very unique character alongside Elita-one and Arcee, really liked her designs like IDW and Cyberverse, I was thinking about making a comic series about Definitely giving Elita-one and her crew of female autobots, and definitely making Chromia as her second-in-command, also her conversion with her-old flame Ironhide and Shockwave were Badass as Hell.

Honestly Chris, ur videos in my humble transformers beginnings in 2020 (when I was getting into transformers) really helped me with the lore, you take complicated plots, characters, and events and all fit it into only 10-15 mins of screen time. I did not know that Chromia was re-imagined as a Decepticon in TF cybertron. That is a cool fact. It is nice to see another underutilised character get more attention

Her Legacy toy is pretty nice. Unconventional as far as repaints go, but she wears the mold really well, and it's nice to have a female Transformer not be backpacked to oblivion.

Deserved a new mold + there's more female transformers in Legacy without backpacks than there are with backpacks For some reason, people don't count Override, Antagony, Strongarm, Shard, Windblade or Javelin when talking about Legacy Transformers who are female characters None of them have backpacks, backpack female Transformers were always in the minority lol

I didn’t watch cyberverse so chromias involvement is something new to me. Always good to learn something new. Especially since I know so much about transformers.

Chromia did a great role from the IDW comic and also the shows. I hope she returns back like her friend Elita One and returns with Ironhide as well.

My favorite version of Chromia is obviously in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen AND in Transformers Cyberverse in her usual motorcycle alternate mode just like the other motorcycle bots.

Kinda wish that she was part of the initial Autobot lineup in Skybound's comics, just to mix it up a little. She could have played Ironhide's role to Prime.

Something I would love to see which most people don't think about and I'm willing to bet willing to bet you would do a good job checking his research... The basics on super Megatron all versions of him

It's interesting how often Chromia is depicted as a lieutenant of another bot, but it'd seem she's growing into a very stand-out character.

If any future TF media decided to bring back GF Chromia (Thunderblast), she should be sisters with Autobot Chromia.

Speaking of Female Bots, I really hope to see a video about Pyra Magna and the Torchbearers one of these days. A group of Female IDW transformers from Windblade’s planet, when combined form the first all female Combiner; Victorion. As for favorite car form….Motorcycle

Bike, got the legacy fugure and its so much fun

My favorite version of Chromia is from the Netflix trilogy. I really liked that she came back with a classic vehicle from G1 and is a strong autobot and is one of Optimus Prime's best warriors. I was sad when she died and that I didn't show a romance between her and Ironhide.

I gotta say I find IDW's Chromia rather tragic. In the panel where it's Ironhide making the arrest, it almost looks as if there's a tinge of regret on both their faces. It's also interesting to see Starscream connect to Chromia through their behind-the-scenes schemes but also the desire to be better than they were. I do have a softspot for G1 Chromia, especially when she playfully scolds Ironhide on his manners.

I actually picked up that figure that came with the comic. The bizarre thing was that her only appearance in it was a blink and you miss it shot of her in the background behind a few other female bots.

Car or bike? Naw, I'll be controversial and say boat.

Hey, so just picked up at random today the figure for a character called Thundertron. Which was apparently a concept character for a potential S4 of TF Prime or even a spinoff. A peg leg space captain of a group called the Star Seekers. Sounded like a fun character, maybe you could do a video even though there's not much info. Maybe a group video about concept characters that never actually came about?

Here are my top 5 favorite female Transformers: 1. Arcee 2. Elita-1 3. Chromia 4. Windblade 5. Moonracer Moonracer and Chromia need more love, along with other female Autobots.

Shes light blue, she is now my favorite character.

We, DEFINITELY, need more female Transformers.

Chromia in her Cyberverse form is beautiful 😍

Chromia is a seasoned, tough-as-nails infiltrator who's adept at unflinching sabotage and provide useful intelligence, and just like the Cityspeaker, Windblade, she hails from the planet Camius. Bluntly honest and a little married to her job, she doesn't make an ideal friend, but she can nevertheless be fiercely protective, a quality which also makes her an exceptional bodyguard, sometimes don't believe she should take part in a war that was not on her home.

Ah the second one I got when I started collecting again. I just wish it was a better figure than the siege line gave us.

Honestly in the case for alt mode for her in my opinion is always a bike for me personally cause a lot of people born in the early 2000s(2001 in my case) would’ve been more familiar with her motorcycle mode as their chromia. While I love the siege figure for being more g1 I thinking her most recent toy works better for me cause I feel that each of elitia 1’s crew should have different alt modes from each other but be different to the point where they couldn’t be a remold/recolor of one another(power of the primes-siege)

In 2009, Target Released A Blue & Black Redeco Of Energon Arcee Using 2009's ROTF Packaging; Actually Calling Her Chromia! She Was On Shelves Alonside: Cheetos & Dinobot.

I feel like she needs a gimmick to really stand out. Perhaps she could be a pseudo triple changer where the 2 wheels of her "tron cycle" mode would split and reconfigure to make her a quadcopter. That one iteration of her already splits the wheels for the robot mode. Plus, in quadcopter mode she could fly around with Windblade. Of course, I haven't watched or read any of the media involving them, so for all I know she can already do this.
