Two things about the gun: 1: You had it upside-down. the gap is at the top. 2: The back of the handle has a port to peg on to his folded up hands.

The cannon can actually go on both hands. If you turn the hands in, there’s a peg that can go into a port on the cannon.

Watch peaugh's review to learn how to peg the vehicle mode together properly. There's a peg on the roof of the car which pegs into a hole on the back of his waist

I was having an crazy dilemma before I watched this. I was thinking what to buy. Stinger or Jazz. Now I'm problably gonna buy Stinger, baecause I already have human alliance Jazz and that figure is perfect. Thanks balt!

You can actually use the weapon with both hands. I saw another reviewer point out that those rectangle tabs on the other side of each hand can be used to hold the weapon because their is a rectangle hole on the end of the weapon. I guess it’s supposed to be for the allusion that the gun transformed out of Jazz’s arm.

I'm just letting everyone know that the gun shield is upside down, a lot of people make this mistake because of the way it's shown on the box and manual, but in the movie he holds it with the gap of the shield at the top.

This is my favorite Transformer because it's a Pontiac

Jazz is small because they were going for keeping him in scale with the rest of the Studio Series characters while in robot mode. Since Jazz and 'Bee are roughly the same height, they both end up a bit shorter than most Deluxe class guys. One point that wasn't covered in the video: his hands flip around 180 and the dish gun thing can peg onto the stump to do the whole "arm transforms into weapon" deal that's so big in the earlier movies.

The Power of the Primes Jazz has a similar "shell" transformation... and similar peg difficulties. Also it is nice to see that the studio series figures have the same sizing differences in the movie. (Jazz was so tiny in that movie, mainly because he was such a compact Solstice roadster) compared to the rest of the robots.

I'm 5 months late, but the vehicle mode does line up correctly. You are supposed to connect his butt port with the peg at the roof of the car.

How tall is this in scale to Scout Class Figures like Cybertron Armorhide or Beast Machines Scavenger (which is a "basic class" figure)

Wait...Pontiac stopped producing the Solstice in 2007 The first Transformers movie came out in 2007 They were too depressed by Jazz's death so much they discontinued the Solstice

To get the car mode to sit flush there’s a peg on the roof that pegs into the thighs to make it sight flat

A buddy of mine told me that the reason why transformer figures nowadays are getting smaller and the boxes are pure cardboard is because HASBRO/Takara wants to be “environmentally friendly” and use as less plastic as possible… Which absolutely suck. They should instead make their sizes the same they were during the 2000s and early 2010s. An actual deluxe class back then was satisfactoringly big, same for Voyager and leader classes, they were bigger. What they should do instead is to make them bigger and literally haul plastic trash from their factories to clean the plastic, and use it for the figures.

The only mistrandformed figure I got was Ramket but it was an Ebay figure whilev out of box maybe moonracer but all of my 32+ figures were ussually just incomplete in transformation in shipping like when I got cybertron Longrack the arms in the veihcle mode were just 2 clicks out still or whirl whith his feet not down

I'm glad the figure is in one piece

In the first Transformers live action movie he was barely taller than BumbleBee

A simple hinge on the roof of the car would been great, at least then the back of the car would be one the back!

Speaking of hasbro screw ups, my sinnertwin had two animal mode hand covers from the right hand, my left, so it doesn't close all the way due to the small plastic bit being too long for the other hand Sigh.....

I find on my figure that his left leg is loose, and he can't really hold anything that well.

So ik how to fix your problem in vehicle mode. You need to make sure the blue peg under the roof is tabbed in all the way.

a gunsheild is a real thing.

I feel like designers can't find ways to transform them without a backback. Because they also can't give them a lot of plates. Sadly.

LOL yours doesn't peg in correctly because on the underside of the roof there is a peg that fits into his butthole. Once you get that pegged in then then everything else lines up. How do I know? Because I have Jazz myself

It’s amazing how one step can make a world of difference. It’s the same with the deluxe barricade. If you don’t click his thumbs in to close his hands, the back section of the car won’t peg in. Love these figures.🙌🙌🙌

You can fold the claw hand back and put the gun/shield on the peg.

I'm planning to get that jazz on my holiday to orlando

but the Studio Series is meant to evoke the scale 'accuracy' of each character's size on how they interact with each other in the movies, note i put quotes on 'accuracy' as some characters change size depending on what scene they appeared in and also sometimes due to mass-shifting when transforming.

It remembers me of RotF Deluxe Smokescreen.

Actually, the last Pontiac badged cars were built in December 2009, with one final vehicle in January, 2010. Franchise agreements for Pontiac dealers expired October 31, 2010, leaving GM to focus on its four remaining North American brands: Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and GMC.

To fix the issue of not pegging in, you need to plug the back of the waist into the roof of the car. The car mode will not hold together if you miss this step.

Now that I watch the 2007 movie Jazz actually did speak alot..

Actually, not anymore. Hasbro and TakaraTomy are promoting a brand universality. So any toy that Hasbro (US) sells, TakaraTomy (Japan) will sell exactly the same.
