I absolutely love g1 menasor, but this more complex transformation makes their toy figure on par with their g1 cartoon character.

Actually motomaster doesn't need 4 other robots to turn into big robot. he alone is enough. the others are just complementary LOL

Can’t go wrong with the classics

I did like how Motormaster's whole mass-shifting went with his cab-to-feet. But Menasor on a whole has always been disappointing, at leas the other combiners had their bots combine and form limbs, Menasor is literally Motermaster wearing the other Stunticons. Which, granted, does kinda fit with their dynamic. but still kinda disappointing from a toy perspective.

Menasor is a “Scramble City” style combiner. It’s one big robot as a base and 4 smaller bots that form either an arm or a leg. It looks like Motor master is “wearing the Stunticons” cuz that’s exactly what hes doing

Admittedly, that is true. Not really that big of a transformation, but the results are still pretty cool.

So, obviously they replaced Breakdown, since there was a completely different character called Breakdown in Prime, but I wonder why they replaced Wild Ride and Dead End. Maybe they lost the trademarks to the names?

Tbh, I don't think RID (at least season 1) was THAT bad. Sure it wasn't Prime, but you can blame over-sensitive parents for that. I just wish the toys were better 😂

Yeah, I mean Jazz, Sideswipe, Grimlock, Optimus Prime, Quillfire, Springload, Clampdown, and Bisk were pretty much my favorite characters in the show but sadly I outgrowned RID now because apparently just like crappy debate between G1 and Bayverse, the elitists/purists of Prime hating on other Transformers shows pretty much ruined Prime for me in my unpopular opinion. So I decided to stick to the other Transformers shows including Prime (dispite purists ruining it) I grew up with, the games and the new movies like Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts for now on.

I like the Stunticons and Menasor's 1980's animated look very much. Don't know why they didn't include the sleeper cab for Motormaster. That is the type of Kenworth truck he is. Where did you obtain all 5 Stunticons?

Those are definitely not the original gen 1 stuntacon toys but they do look a bit cooler.

Magic square deserved to be loved.. I put my respect to this company. For many of their products is efficient and effective to reach the quality of what mecha figure should have. Especially for small/ legend scale figures. Thanks for the video. But sorry to say this, the music background is kinda miss placed. The sad feeling hunts me while watching it..

Only thing I take issue with is...well, the combination feels like 98% trailer and literally 2% putting various pieces of the other vehicles knto him. Instead of a combiner. Like, the Trailer turned into naked menasor is already MOST of Menasor, making it feel like the other vehicles are only additions.

I mean, that's exactly how he is in the cartoon. Unlike Devastator, Menasor is kinda just big Motormaster with the stunticon's vehicle modes slapped on

I liked the design of the RID characters, but the toys were absolute bricks.

I love the g1 Transformers cartoon and the toys and many more from the 1980's and the episodes of the original series was my favorite in the 1980's when I was in the 1st grade in 1984-1985 and 1986 -1988 2nd grade to 4th grade in the 1980's and I never forgotten about the show itself because I was there lol in the 1980's

So all this time Menasor was the trailer!? That's hilarious and depressing. DEPRIOUS!!!

Only this figure, in fiction (and original toy) trailer became part of Motormaster's robot mode, this toy, which again, is inspired by G1 design, but is actually recent, had him be only truck without trailer to keep him in scale and have trailer be required part for combination

Atleast the other combiners doesn't glue cars on their legs and call it a transformation

G1 Menasor was the most unsatisfying Combiner TBH, but this one is *LEAGUE'S* better than the hit mess that is the X-Transbots version. Masterpiece Accurate to G1 but absolute *NIGHTMARE* to transform trailer into Combiner Mode, they even sell Filler/Robot replacements for the Limb's.

I'm gonna buy them and give them custome paint jobs so that they look g1 accurate. Or maybe I'll do g2.

If that first set is supposed to be the most recent version of the Stuntacons, then no thanks. It's kind of bad when toys from the 80s have a better transformation than more recent ones. That second set is not G1. G1 looking, but not the G1 version.

It's from the kids show 2018 RID, it's part of a Combiner gimmick line, you have Menasor, Cyclonus & Co, and the Bumblebee Team. It's not meant to be good.

Motormaster is folded into a box like Ginrai. They should have just have the limbs as powersuits like they did in Gobots. G1 Stunticons was my first combiner.

I don't get the idea for G1 Menasor. The only two things that truly combine are Motor Master and his trailer. Dragstrip and Red car 1 act as shoulder armor, I guess, but what purpose do the ones on his literal calves do at all!?

I have heatseeker bu i have the core class version that does not combone but as a ton of articulation.

Just a quick reminder that the cheap looking one is an authentic and an official product made by hasbro and the other one that looks way better is an unofficial and possibly illegal product, what a World...

You gotta hand it to rid they make the bots look good

Transformers wise is awesome but we could do without all the different angles and spinning the car in your hand like it's some model that would save so much time on the video just jump from showing one side then transformer it

Those aren't the actual og ones, they're modern versions

The old ones can scramble city, motor master had a base mode and a roller the transformations where more fun and the only downside was partsforming in contrast the most interesting transformers is a basic rip of energon inferno and they can't even lift there arms. I don't want to hear that the new one was basic priced as a Voyager and the simplicity is the point. It's the only version of R I d Menasor there is and we have the only g1 figure and 2ish generation version ( I've leard not to get a head of myself because countless amounts of messed up things can happen any day)

The good kind.

Magic Square really dwarfed Motormaster by making only the cab turn into him instead of the whole truck. Also, they made Menasor smaller as well by making the trailer wear the parts and have dwarves Motormaster go into his back. I will pass on these sets and stick to my FansProject Intimidator which at least Motormaster turns into a box truck and is much bigger than the other 4 parts. The other half of the trailer is his weapons.

@@ashwar1901 The Motormaster on Intimidator is roughly the same size as Silverbolt in my Aerialbot set. Meanwhile I borrowed my friend's Magic Sqiuare and Motormaster dwarfs Silverbolt and is only a head taller than the other 4 stunticons. Scaling is important to me because I disliked the scaling problem of the G1 toys. Intimidator and my Hasbro Superion is the right scale.

Part of me hopes a third party company does RiD menasor, galavatronus and UltraBee

You mean G1 design or G1 toy, because this one here shown as old one is actually a recent toy of character, rather than original toy of them, which was a bit closer to this one shown as new one when it comes to posebility and transformation, but didn't had combiner hands feet and head integrated

The R.I.D ones can be find online and retail but the magic square's one you could not get not the magic square's one in retail. But if you want it then go to google and search Big Bad Toy Store and big bad toy store is a good way to find some third party transformers figures.

Again, it is G1 design, but not g1 toy, which wasn't even half as advanced as toy presented here, G1 toy was just as lacking in posebility as RID version. However it didn't had hand, feet or even head integrated, but as separate pieces that needed to be attached for combined mode
