Something this game gets right that almost all of Transformers media gets wrong is the return to rock music. It just fits so well

​@DeviTLR If there was going to be a sequel to Transformers: Devastation, we would of gotten it by now. Or at the very least, some sort of news/rumors. This game dropped, people played it, and that was it. I'm actually really disappointed that a sequel was never made. I remember checking VGChatrz years ago to see the overall sales, and even though I'm not sure how accurate their numbers were, the game still sold 1 million copies across all platforms at the time. Guess that wasn't enough to invest in another Transformers game. 🫤

​@YaowBucketHEAD Well, *IF* Devastation gets a sequel, these are the things I want to see. 1. More Autobots with different abilities. Each character could be able to achieve a specific task throughout the game. Ratchet could fix injured bots, Wheeljack could build machines, Jetfire could fly, Ironhide could use his acid sprayer, Mirage could turn invisible, Hound could create holograms, etc. 2. Playable Decepticons. I'd imagine Nova Prime will be a threat so big the Autobots will have to join the Decepticons to take him down.

Perfect timing in your attack at 19:15 to let the music flow with the cutscene

24:03 easily the best theme out of everyone else’s.

As a diehard G1 Transformers fan, I absolutely adored this game. Almost 100% (I'm not even going to attempt the no damage achievements) the game on two different platforms (Xbox One and Xbox 360) and been on and off about grabbing the PS4 version. I wish someone would make another *decent* G1 Transformers game. If it be something like this or a RTS or whatever, it would be a day 1 buy for me. Guess we'll never get another. Which worries me bc Peter Cullen isn't getting any younger.

@@skyfirefilms It'll definitely come back, Activision still has the source code to all the Transformers games they made. We just have to wait at least until October 18 for Activision-Blizzard to become part of Microsoft (they still need the approval of the ACCC and the CMA).

I remember I couldnt defeat Devastator. I really lost many days trying to beat him. I dont remember why it was so diffucult. Maybe I had the game at max difficulty (?) If there even is a max difficulty. Anyway. I couldnt do it. So next day I did something I never expected to work. I played "The Touch" In the background. I did it on the first try without getting hit once.

First chapter and Megatron is the second boss and you fight him 3 TIMES IN A ROW!!

We should have had a sequel for this game. The main villain should have been Nova Prime, the Autobots and Decepticons would have to team up to stop him and the Maximals and Predicons should have been a DLC

Because the partnership between Activision and Hasbro expired two years later.

If only this game got its sequel. I really would've loved to see a Nova/Nemesis Prime storyline. (I had to look up Nova Prime to see his new name from when he turned evil because I don't think I read the original story; that's why I refer to _him_ - and not an evil Optimus - as Nemesis Prime)

If you beat Megatron, he collapses on the ground for a moment before getting up and transforming, you can get some loot from him as well if you defeat him during the chase. It also gets easier to beat him during the chance sequence once you have a better understanding of the game

Copyright law doesn't allow them to do that. Just like when Cyberverse cartoon wanted to play "The Touch" in the cartoon but couldn't obtain the right, so they had to use some generic rock music.

Honestly, this game is what most Transformer games should be. Only thing it needed more was downloadable skins (G2 versions of characters), extra unlockable characters (Clampdown, Deep Cover, Spin Out, etc) with stats different from their mold-mates, and more levels to fight through (Bruticus, Predaking, etc).

As good as this game is, it needed to have a Decepticon campaign. Just like the WFC and FOC games, because, sure, the Autobots may win, but that doesn't mean the game cannot have alternate endings from both the good guys and the bad guys. For all it's worth, this game feels half done.

Why would they have Sideswipe and Wheeljack and not Tracks and Jazz?

This game should have more Autobots characters like: Iron Hide,Warpath,Scattershot,Perceptor,Bulkhead,Air Raid,Hound,Hot Rod,Mirage,Arcee,Elita one,Chromia,Ratchet,Jetfire,Silverbolt,Skyfire,Jazz and Cliffjumper And there should also have been a sequel with these characters,It's a shame it didn't happen Who agrees?... Like and Bye!

Autobots resemble real life vehicles in vehicle mode. You know how big a semi is. Heavy construction vehicles are even bigger. Devastator is six of these put together.

the combiner becoming bigger than the combination of parts is a given. it's part of the charme

i'm tire of playing Transformers video games as Autobots. i want to be Decepticons. can we get a Transformers video game where we play as the Decepticons? man, that would be cool as fudge ....play as Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, etc. and cause as much chaos and anarchy as possible while stealing Earth's resources...oil...and turn it into Cybertronain crack...i mean....energon cube.
