@@neilmendrico5262 Ya from what i gather it was a big push from Hasbro to get ALIGNED CONTINUITY between this, TF Prime and the TF movies, which completely ruined any hope of the game series continuing like the fans would have wanted as its own thing. It makes sense marketing wise but since marketing was in control thats what brought things to this bad end.

2024 will be a date to remember then, apparently there’s going to be a full CG Transformers film set on Cybertron, no humans. So 2024 is said to be the release estimate.

​@siragmalek4395 There is no way. Hasbro pulled the license. You can only buy the game for PS3 or game key for PC, which is really expensive.

These games were the best. High moon nailed them, truly wish they made more of them with this format and story telling. It’s truly a shame what happened

@@mho... Learn reading comprehension. I said one of the best. That it is, objectively it has good story telling, plot, plot movement, action, gameplay and mechanics. It does all of the characters justic not only in design but voice acting and writing. The levels are fun. The multiplayer is a masterpiece if you were ever around before they shut down the servers. High Moon Studios and others that built these games cared about transformers, they cared about making it as true to the characters and lore as possible while exploring a time period we rarely get to see depicted in media. Everyone’s top list of games is different because it’s all based on personal liking, but these games are up there for me. I know a lot of people agree with me as well bud.

I concur. I miss playing these games when I had my Xbox 360. I remember being hyped to play it when I first saw a trailer of Fall of Cybertron a decade ago. It was certainly better than most shooter games, particularly COD.

Word for word bar for bar, this scene inspired that scene 1000%, hell I’m convinced the director or someone on the team must’ve played these games .

This is the best transformers footage ever. The war footage FELT authentic, the models seemed like the actual bots. Top notch

I love how optimus first scene tanks a missile and back hands one and then later just tanks two direct chest shots This optimus needed more moments of badassery

1:57 How the music enters just makes this war more mesmerizing

I kept dying over and over when I was Bruticus while destroying the autobot ship. I just loved being a combiner savouring the moment..

In the Aligned timeline, Optimus' speech at the beginning rings hollow, as it was the massive systemic injustices that were hidden by the peace that led to the war starting. It's just that for all of Megatron's rhetoric of wanting to free the oppressed, he quickly proved that he cared more about putting himself in charge of a new, more oppressive system with him in charge.

I don't want to connect the games with Transformers Prime. It just feels forced and makes no sense at all. I ignored whatever Hasbro said about Aligned continuity. The games shouldn't belong in that.

​@@TrueGamer22887 Nah. Linking the games with Transformers Prime ruined everything. Characters and events contradict each other. Somehow, we got 2 Grimlock and 2 Sideswipe in the continuity.

War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron were the best transformers games of all time hey!!

Story is so much better than the ghastly Hollywood movies. This videogame series is a love❤ letter to genuine fans of The Transformers.

Transformers just don't work as live-action movies. If we want the story to focus on the Transformers, the CGI cost would be too high. That is why live-action movies focus on humans to reduce cost. I would rather we have a mature animated series instead of live-action movies or the childish recent cartoons.

They should do a movie series with this level of animation. Call it a cartoon if you'd like but I wouldn't miss a single one

I like some of the bay designs, even more than the originals. But i do agree that some designs in this and the aesthetic is better than what bay has made. But with bay had to work with, id say most of his designs(mainly for autobots and dinobots) are actually pretty solid

I swear if the new Transformer: Reactivate game isn’t on this level I’ll be crushed. There’s no decent modern games for this franchise since they’ve stopped support for this💯

It still baffles me that this hasn’t been remastered or at least released in hd, I think this game would thrive rn, the multiplayer and customization on the ps3 was so fucking cool and beautiful, the controls, transforming mid combat was amazing

I hope the next movie is "Transformers: Cybertron" 🥺

I feel like Cybertron dying because of a lack of energon was a better reason for the war. Megatron was willing to sacrifice humanity so that transformer society would continue, but Optimus wasn't.

They can find energon on other planets, not only on Earth. Megatron is just a tyrant who wants to conquer the universe.

The plane is running low on energon *because* of Megatron‘s war, energon is something you can find everywhere and even make, so sacrificing entire other planet with life, for something you could find anywhere else is psychotic. He chose earth because of his belief of being a superior race, and it’s his right to dominate all weaker races(where have we heard that before?)

That is because this takes place BEFORE G1, this is the war they are always referencing back to that destroyed the planet. So at this point in time they dont even know Earth exists let alone know about our style of vehicles :) this let the designers have a LOT of creative freedom in vehicle modes without getting called out too hard

I miss this game if it was compatible on Xbox one I would play the crap out of it
