laser679 But to reach heaven, one has to live through and contribute to the world. If every scientist, bussinessman, etcetera was to hate dunya in such a way then we'd be living in tremendously dirty conditions. And this is the state of most of the countries today... they expect too much from the afterlife, that they forget to make others' lives better in the dunya. Look at Somalia, for instance. I don't mean to offend anyone, but completely casting the world out of one's heart is certainly what God does not expect from us.

Alhumdulilah blessed with a boy yesterday and named him after him. may Allah (SWT) protect him and guide him to the right path Ameen.

I noticed something very very strange , I always have a soft place when it's comes to religion especially Islam. You see now I'm around 17 to 18 yrs , so back when I was around 12 or 13 yrs I finished the whole Quran like 2 to 3 times , and I I don't speak Arabic at all, but I understand little bit bit , but when I read i keep understand some meaning of the Quran and I cry but I didn't know why , so I never told anyone , I keep listening to sheik's tell stories of the prophet and his companions and just over all history , I enjoyed it sooo much. I have , unfairness, unjustice , people looked at down and disrespectful , unkindness. I don't understand why can't we all just love to be good humans? Is it sooo hard ? That's why I Wana learn the religion more and more and still more . O Allah please guide me and every ummah

May Allah Grant him the best place in Jannah amongst the prophet aley Selam. The characteristics that he possessed and the belief that he had was so strong that he sacrificed everything for the love of Allah. The story brought me to tears. And I hope that Allah grants me and US the qualities that this man had so We can stay strong and firm in our beliefs when the winds of sacrifice and struggle comes to US.
