Cat behavior! The way he plopped down on the chair in the beginning, with determination, not looking at you, and started grooming with short quick licks is a statement. And that statement was “MINE!”

Love the way Tom tried to push you away when you were dismantling "his" chair, really funny. Terrific work on the chair. Looks fabulous now.

What more can I say? It has the tuxedo cat stamp of approval. Seriously, it looks so much better as a mid century modern style chair. The stain color, the finish, the cushion fabric/color all add to the MCM vibe.

Complete transformation and perfect outcome. I have lots of MCM furniture from my parents, some of which my father made in his workshop. I love the soft edges you used; they are distinct traits of that time period. Just a super outcome - and I love your furry General Manager!

The design presents a very clear understanding of MCM furniture. The original chair was clunky and appeared heavy. The final result gives the appearance of grace and movement, like a dancer. Your upholster did a neat job.
