Hi Karl and thanks for your informative videos. I am a hobbyist photographer. I recently bought a Apurture x2 Fresnel modifier and then ordered some barn doors. I was looking forward to the barn doors being able to give me a box shape or slanted line on the backdrop however when the barn doors arrived and I was able to try them out I was extremely disappointed as they can produce no well defined lines. After watching this video I realised I needed a "Projection attachment" lighting modifier to give the effects I want. I have found a reasonably priced set on Ali express and am waiting its arrival.
I always watch your new and previous videos to get ideas for my next personal hobby project. Thanks for the tips.
Tips and tricks. My respects!
Hope to see another product photography video this Spring.
My next purchase will definitely be a projection snoot. Godox just came out with the BFP and it looks fully featured!
