you're a life saver! thanks! however the bg remover and transparent background are now only work on the paid version of Canva.

Hi @leisureshare592, thank you for your kind words 🙏😊. As for the bg remover and transparent background issue you can always subscribe Canva as it is free for the first 30 days and then cancel the subscription or there is also a site called www .remove.bg where you can remove the bg and have a transparent bg. It is not as perfect as Canva but maybe it can help you. Cheers.

Hi @articehunter7249, I'm glad you like it 😊. To revert back to the new version, I first save all my projects and then I sign out. Finally, I sign in again and Canva will open in the new version. Hope this helps, cheers.

This was a feature of the old editor that Canva just removed unfortunately. I've been looking for a solution and still haven't found one exactly like this one. Meanwhile I'm using the 'Cartoonify' App that Canva has. It's not the same but in my case it has helped me with my designs. Do you know this app? I have a video on it and it's very easy to use if it helps your designs. Cheers

Hi @MJPEnterprise, unfortunately Canva took it out April this year. Nowdays everytime I need to use this feature in my projects I use the Canva Cartoonify or the Animeify App depending on the result I want. Have you tried any of these Canva tools yet?

So sad - I can't seem to get to this. I have "Edit Image" not "Edit Photo" and when I scroll down I don't see that. How do I know what version I have? Thank you!

Hi @carolannh48, I'm afraid Canva took out the old editor last April. Now in order to sort my designs I'm using the cartoonify app that we can find in Canva. Here are the steps that I'm doing now: 1- select the image; 2- Click the Apps button that appears in the right bottom of the screen; 3- write "cartoonify" in the search bar; 4- finally click the "cartoonify and replace button". Why do you need to duplicate image and select together and then download when you can just click download button in the top right hand corner and choose transparent background

Hi @beejoyful24-75, I did this way because I was having issues with the steps you mentioned (download button > click transparent background). When I tried that the shadow circle around the image was not appearing. Because I remember there was another way to download the image (duplicate the image and then click download selection) I tried and it worked. I don't know if there was a clinch between the new version and the old version but it worked for me the way I did in the video. Thanks for sharing. 🙏😊

Hi @gunesata1974, I'm afraid Canva took out the old editor on the 26th april 2024 😞, hopefully they will bring good news in their new launch that is going to be next 23rd may. Meanwhile I've been using in my projects the cartoonify app that Canva has, have you tried it? Hi @hernidwis3650, unfortunately Canva deleted the old editor in April. I've been exploring Canva new launch of new tools last May but until now I have not found any like the one I showed on the video. What I've been doing is I have been using the Cartoonify APP that you can find in the APP section of Canva. It is not the same but at least you can transform the image in a cartoon.
