In this video I show you how you can go restoration of metal parts in your car, taking rusty looking metal and turn it into some serious bling. using the process of nickel electroplating at home
This is not some trick or made up "hack" this is a genuine process that you can use at home to make old and tired looking surface rusted metal look new and not only new but also better than new with a little extra work.
I have put the shopping list for what you will need below as well as some little good to have extras which make the process much better and easier if you're happy to spend a little extra.

American 5 cent coins are actually an alloy with mostly copper. Canadian coins before being plated steel were nickel. All to say that purchasing pure nickel is the best course of action.

That’s interesting to know, I have have the 10p which is also an alloy of nickel I did consider putting that in the vinegar and see if passing electricity would make an electrolyte of the alloy

Dear puntohowto, First of all thanks for making these videos, they helped me a lot with my punto evo. Is it possible that you make a video about cleaning the pump of a windscreen cleaner? I can't seem to find how I can fix it. Also the suspension of my punto makes a loud click like noise when I drive over bumps. Do you know what could cause this and how I can fix it. Interesting suggestions, what I would say is the pumps are often so cheap it is far better to just replace it for a new one, the washer jets can get blocks so they can need cleaning, which can often just be done with a pin. There are so many moving parts in the suspension one thing you can do is Jack the car up and then use a pry bar to wiggle all the joints to see what might be loose

@@PuntoHowto thank you for your message. In that case I will just replace the pump for a new one. Ill see what I can do with the suspension. I thought it was a well known fiat problem. It seems like a lot of fiats have this problem. As well as the 500 and panda. Appreciate the help!
I stopped watching halfway through because the music is too loud and annoying.
