I’m sorry to hear about the piano teacher. I am glad you both were being proactive parents. I have a daughter as well so this is definitely a fear of mine. The memory card probably still being on the United flight explains the shorter episode. 😂 Glad ya are back!

I'm appreciative for Asha's Keepin it Real. As a person who has experienced sexual abuse at a young age, you become overprotective or paranoid about the spces that you have your children in. I'm so glad that you guys asked your daughter the right questions and she opened up to yall. I'm happy that you guys addressed the instructor head on and did not allow your emotions to get the best of thus turning the situation into a hostile one. I commend yall for going to the admin of the school to further press the issues. Kudos to yall for removing your daughter from the school altogether even though she may have been getting the finest education. You can always find that elsewhere. I would like to know what has been the conversation with your daughter about removing her from the school and the piano lessons? Will you guys put her into private piano lessons at your home where they can be monitored?

I’m sorry to hear about the incident involving Aria. The world is so scary. For pre-k, we took the homeschooling route with our almost 5 y/o but now he’ll be starting public kindergarten in the fall. 😩 Very nervous for that
