niiiiice clean install

As a guy that recently installed a custom system where I picked every part. This is actually a good option if you don't really want to get into knowing a lot about car audio. If you want a hobby that is a never ending money pit and have plenty of free time, go for it. Go for it and cut a port that lets you put a subwoofer in the bed of the truck. The OEM system is good if you want a quick solution with a whole lot less work, and you will spend more to achieve their digital signal processing "clean sound".

I just purchased the Reference 500 with sub amp for my 2019 Tacoma and really like the way you mounted the sub gain knob! By taking the knob apart to install it into my blank void the warranty? Also, what was the purpose of marking the one side with the pencil?

Hey Jesse, been watching for a year and a half now. I recently installed the reference 500 system with the dual subs on my 2020 Tacoma. 9/10 times, my audio doesn’t work. This includes Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, and radio (am, fm, xm). Have you run into this problem or know anyone that has? Because I have checked every one of my connections and I’ve had no luck.

Luckily no I have not that’s the first thing I was going to tell you is check all connections and check your ground a lot of people do not do good ground and that can mess with audio when u hit a bump as well Another thing hit up oem customer support there really good at replying

@@fernandomorneo3082 hello Fernando, unfortunately so far I have not. I rechecked my ground and it seems fine. I reached out to OEM Audio Plus and they are sending me a new wiring harness. Hopefully that fixes it!

so i have the exact same system as you(sub, 6 speakers and 2 amps), but if I wanted to add a second sub, would you reccomend it. Like can the amps hold well with two and still sound good?
