Transcription termination in eukaryotes | Eukaryotic transcription part 2

Eukaryotic transcription termination - This lecture explains about the transcription termination in eukaryotes. Eukaryotic transcription terminates when it reaches a specific poly A signal sequence in the growing RNA chain. That signal sequence helps in the termination of eukaryotic transcription after recruiting enzymes like CPSF and CSTF and other cleavage factors. The cleavage of RNA and attachment of many A residues in the growing chain terminates the eukaryotic transcription. Poly adenylation is catalyzed by Poly A polymerase and guided by poly A binding protein.

Great video, just a quick question regarding the poly adenylation identification sequence - you say that this signal tells the Pol ll to start adding adenine residues and that this is the termination. So adenine is added at that point in time AND after the cleavage using poly A polymerase?
