Hey, confirm or deny, I think that the second time that the tenor has the 16th syncopated bit (8th 16th 8th 16th 8th 8th 8th 8th 8th) starting around 2:28, it sounds like it's an octave higher than before. Can someone else listen to it and see if I'm hearing that right

He forgot to change it out of concert pitch. Just read the Bari line as it is because C bass clef is the same as Eb treble clef but the tenor is wrong by one tone

Why bass clef though

For some reason there's a shot at 2:11 where Wenzl is on contra

Not sure if anyone has actually tried to play this, but it is incorrect. Tenor part is written in concert pitch, first note should be a G. Notes for the bari part are right...if it was in treble clef.

Why leave it in concert pitch? And In regards to “read the other comments,” I didn’t see anyone comment on concert pitch, but if you are referring to why you left the bari part in bass clef, that being because you were originally doing bass sax, I just want to put out there that bass sax is also written in treble.

By the other comments, I think there is none mentioning this video but I have already address this issue over 10 times in other videos. I stream these transcriptions so you could tell me in the stream what I did wrong before uploading the video

@@u_got_sarged1006 I knew like a month or two ago but sometimes still forgets it lol coz I transcribe in concert pitch

Tenors play this in G Major and just raise everything a whole step if you’re trying to read it Baris read as is because bass to treble and C to Eb cancel each other out

I'll maybe do moon hooch songs after some more Lucky Chops. Just feel like their music is more boring to listen over and over again and Lucky Chop's ones are better. Just my opinion.

Idk, my G on my bari I wish sounded that low. Unless it’s just something with the growl that makes it sound distorted

BigEasy #99 The recording used is from the studio video which used a contrabass clarinet. Contra is an octave below bass, and bass has the same low register as bari. I’m guessing they just decided a bari was more practical for a live performance
