love the transcription, one thing though, the trombone at the beginning is playing an A natural then to a G I can confirm with the video as a D is not possible in 2nd unless you have the lip bending skills of a god. Great job though.

Insane! Didn't know this used 22/44 time signature at one point lol

Great transcription. I noticed that the beginning the trumpet part starts on an E not a B

According to their sheet music this song originally had no bari sax, and was set to 90 BPM. Just some trivia. Tried playing it at 90 when I first got it and it definitely felt rushed compared to what I'm used to.

The recording from their self-titled album doesn't have any bari sax, which I think the transcription was based off of.

I think the tuba part is up an octave, but only in some parts again lol Edit unless you're transcribing the album version, then i think it's good

Nice transcription! I tried my hand at the album version for myself and some friends. For readability's sake I actually wrote it in Cut time so they'd be reading dotted quarters and eighths rather than dotted eighths and sixteenths. I referred to yours whenever I got stuck!

Great transcription as usual! However, many of the tuba's notes, such as the low A, low Gb and low E are an octave too low.

Thanks for the transcription! I think in measure 14+15 (same comes later on as well) the tuba should have an E on the second half

Incredible song and excelent job. Im kind of new in this kind of ensambles (sorry for my bad english, im from Chile), and was surprising that the Bari and Tenor Sax were in the Alto Clef and not the Bass Clef, how is that? Excelent job again

Don't worry for your bad English, I am from Hong Kong, so my English is also not that good. For the tenor sax, I am sure it's treble clef, but for the bari, some say it is bass other say it is treble. The musescore preset is treble clef, so I use treble clef. But basically I know both clefs so I don't really care lol. We can talk about this in discord.

eddie leung production a lot of the low wood winds use the same clefs as the more “popular” or like commonly used instrument. the same way that bass and contrabass clarinet also use treble (at least in a concert or jazz band setting, sometimes they use bass in the rare times that they are in full symphonies) tenor, from my knowledge, is always in treble. you could write bari in bass clef i guess, but i don’t see a point to that. even most bass saxophone parts are written in treble i believe

@@Humanhamsandwich Thanks for your advice. I was told that it was written in bass clef because it is easier for musicians to read but it was supposed to be in treble.

you might have the trumpet and trombone switched at the beginning. good transcription though!

I did switch the trombone and trumpet at first, but when I listened more carefully you could hear that they are in fact switched, at least based on my hearing. Thanks though!

@@Eddoof sorrry i disagree, the A stays constant throughout the beginning with the trombone, at least through the sound.

Transcribe "solo por hoy" of Adam Rapa trumpet

Nice one, but they used a contrabass tuba, sub-contrabass tubas are - as far as i know - not used in any bands or orchestras (they are nearly impossible to play because of the low pitch, one octave below the BBb Tuba)

Yes, I know its a contra but I can't find a contra in musescore so I have to use the sub contra. Sorry for that.

So at the beginning the trumpet is actually playing low a and the trombone is playing c sharp/ d flat

Ya. At first I was also confused a bit and heard the opposite but if you listen very closely you will hear that transcription.

When things happen wierdly. Press V to hide the mistake :)

That’s definetly not a Sub-Contrabass Tuba. Great transcription though.

@@Eddoof at the begining for example the trumpet is playing an E un b flat and the trombone is playing the fifth, A, not the D. I can heard it and see in the positions of the trumpet pistons and the slide of the trombon ( I play trombone and euphonium who has the same positions than trumpet)

@@Mario96540 Thanks. To be real I can't really tell the difference in the sound sometimes I hear my version sometimes I hear yours, but I am not that pro in knowing the positions of the values and stuff, I don't play any of the brass and wind instruments. Thanks again!
