My dad was volunteer EMS. He grew up in the town his whole life and there were people he absolutely despised because they were terrible people. He still did his job if the call was at their place. Not to mention that Good Sam laws require any first responder who sees an incident in progress to respond without risk of prosecution for malfeasance, AS LONG AS THEY ACT IN GOOD FAITH, much less the laws for standards of care from someone actually on the clock. That means doing the job to the best of their ability.

I am also an immunocompromised person who is disabled. I have a heart condition that has caused me to go into cardiac arrest multiple times and I was in a coma because I was without oxygen for an extended period of time. It took me a year and a half after the vaccine came out before I got it (I had to) and I never got Covid. Still haven’t. And I only wore a mask if necessary. That person is nuts.

I have an autoimmune disease (guillian Barre disease) that paralyzed me from neck down. If I get any virus or vaccine I run the risk of being paralyzed again. And I don't mask. Why? Because I got c0vid while wearing a surgical mask with gloves and being monitored by an auditor because I was a home health nurse. I have had C0vid 2x... the first time I was slightly short of breath and didn't even go to the hospital... the 2nd time was just tired... So no I'm not wearing a mask and not going to make others mask either

I feel sorry for it's friends and family, actually having to tolerate this person face to face. So bitter with entitlement!

Helping others with the laundry and groceries is actually a good idea, but not because they are trans. Better reasons should be because they are sick, lack money to drive a car, or are elderly and tire easily.

I've taken Calculus 1, 2, & 3 plus Differential equations, and I can't figure these TikTokers out.

I love how that person made so many assumptions about others, like not wearing a mask automatically means you don’t care about others and assuming that the person not wearing a mask doesn’t have any disabilities or isn’t immunocompromised. I was 8 months pregnant with twins, had 4 feet kicking my ribs, therefore struggling to breathe properly, then expected to sit outside on a 40C/104F day because I couldn’t wear a mask correctly.

For the Paramedics story it's a total lie from the TikToker. My brother is a paramedic, and they are used to crazy people, they can debate on tough subjects and make funny jokes but saving the patient is the only thing they care about if someone need them, no matter what. Respect the one you need if something bad happen to you.

You’d be surprised. The medical industry in general isn’t in it for saving lives. I’m currently in the middle of a malpractice lawsuit because a specialist refused to actually test me for the one thing I knew I had and when they finally did, it was too late. Just a thought.

@@chelsycordon6187look at how much Paramedics are paid compared to your specialist and you’d absolutely have to be in it for the right reasons. It is a high stress job and while, more often than not, most calls are nuisance (ride to the hospital) or simple, they never know what they are going to walk into. Where I grew up, someone started making false calls and sniping the first responders. Have never met a Paramedic who wasn’t there to help.

@@chelsycordon6187 Paramedics have beef with doctors and nurses in general for this reasons, the medical industry is large and in terms of mindset paramedics are really close to Firefighters and work a lot with them. Doctors and nurses are more disconnected from reality in my experience because they stay in their bubble

There hasn't been any other case like it, and that particular case involved a black EMT. So it neither reflects "white supremacy" nor the "reality" faced by trans people.

The testosterone kicking in is visibly making her miserable. She is just too deep in to accept that. Otherwise she’s a hypocrite to everything she has been promoting. Unfortunately it’s a common cycle a lot of these TikTokers have dug themselves deep in, and the ones who have been vocal on it have been cancelled and shunned. Just look at all the poor detransitioners (specifically FtM, since there’s a HUGE wave of those). Moment a FtM begins balding and NEEDING to change their style to be more masculine to fit their facial hair, lack of hair on top, etc, you see the visible regret on their faces. Can’t wait for the day this internet trend passes and becomes “oh god I was so cringey back then.” Except yknow, it’s even sadder that these phases are irreversible.

I'd bet we're about five to ten years away from the flood of lawsuits over this. The novelty is wearing off to the point that no one really cares outside of desperate losers and the fear of being cancelled over being labeled a bigot is basically gone. Once no one pays attention to them and HR stops siding with them there will be no upside only a lifetime of suffering. I feel for the children that were duped into this, but the adults should wallow in the mess they've made for themselves.
