NASCAR would be more enjoyable to me if they used these cars to race. The bodies look much better to me. Thank you for sharing.

A pattern is developing. It seems it doesn't matter what series it is. It is a good show if the Down Under boys are doing it. Hmm. The camera angles, the HD, the tracks, the car/driver quality, and the calls. US msm racing media could learn something here.

even when they were the host broadcasters for the F1 they made use of the onboard camera angles brilliantly at the 95 & 2003 F1 races. The 2003 race had the best use of the new onboard's available too them which was great coverage.

IMSA is still meh and channel coverage is dodgy. Racing down under has been a better watch with more lenient rules that allow for more strategic racing. (I'm looking at you Nascar for sTAge rAcInG)

@@aburrows2008 In their defense Saturday night local short track style racing has been considered by those inside Cup racing since at least the late 80s. Smokey Yunic used to write for Circle Track mag. and wrote a series of articles about the future of NASCAR. Much of what he predicted has come to pass although he thought the fan reactions would be positive.

I think Supercars could learn a bit from the Trans Am series. The Supercar Mustangs look like puffed up cane toads because of the cage requirements and roll hoop that is specific to the Commodore and Falcon. The series needs a shake up or the fans will start to lose interest, which would be a tragedy. The Trans Ams are fast, they look good, they sound awesome and they're a bit loose in the tail, all the ingrediants for fun driving and happy spectators. I hope this category grows in popularity.

The physics of these cars look like they are from the 1980s. Look so slow on a race track. Motorsport for old conservatives, only fast from 120kmh-250kmh in a straight line, and slow everywhere else. I like a muscle car sound, but the sound is now associated with slow race cars.
