Historically marginalised and oppressed, not because of how we dress, but because of our sex. The question is whether self-defined gender identity should dictate society and override sex as a category. I would say that if a man says he is a woman, and women can't help but still see a man, that they shouldn't be criminalised for this. She's never argued trans people aren't real or are just mentally ill. She's simply a feminist who believes that hard fought women's rights cease to exist if women are no longer anything more than a feeling you have at any point in time. That the female gender isn't real. Its absolutely insane that anything she's saying is now being portrayed as provocative or controversial. The people in this video are mostly not even trans, they're just deeply mysogyistic gay men in drag.

The article also didn't include any trans people whatsoever. Ironically, this person also had been accused of sexual offences themselves. This is common place. If I started accusations that you're a predator and prey on children, do you not think people might start getting upset at you? Do you not think I should face repercussions if I did that?

Besides, 41% of transgender females in UK prisons are there for sex offends. Not wanting any males in female spaces is not an accusation towards every man. It is just taking care of safety of women. It's amazing how often these trans activists keep saying things like, "If we debated black rights there would be outrage! If we debated jewish people there would be outrage!" The ignorance is astounding. We DID DEBATE those things. FOR YEARS. Just like we debated gay rights. The Civil Rights and Gay Rights movement represent decades worth of debate on policy, law, and constitutional rights. And I'll tell you, when gay people made their bid for the legalization of gay marriage they had to EXPLAIN why not granting the right was against the Constitution and also explain why the granting of homosexual unions was beneficial and not detrimental to society. They didn't get to stand up in front of the Supreme Court and answer the question with, "Because that's Homophobic! Our rights aren't up for debate!" You have to prove what you want isn't detrimental to society. Trans people want rights, but they have to EXPLAIN how saying you're a woman magically makes you a woman. They have to explain why your mother, daughter or sister has to be exposed to male genitalia in a woman's locker room. They have to justify how allowing trans athletes to beat all the records of biological woman in sports is not unfair to them. But you notice they have no answers to these things. Their only strategy is to shut down debate or scream "transphobe!" or "bigot!" And the fact that they can't even create or define a parameter - is trans dysmorphia? or is it fluid? How does the constructed non-binary label fit into these rights? Does one have to be actually doing a medical transition to have access to women's spaces or can anyone just say they're female and have access? Can you distinguish between a person with dysmorphia and a transvestite? These two types of people want to be in a female locker room for very DIFFERENT reasons - None of this bodes well for their movement filled with lies.

Nobody is debating trans-people's existence. Or their rights. We debate a deeply held belief trans people have about themselves, and whether that belief, a belief that denies their biological sex in favour of a more nebulous "gender," is enough to allow them to be categorised as the opposite sex by anyone other than themselves. And about whether other people have the right not to affirm this belief by using chosen pronouns and sharing intimate spaces with people not of their sex. Since Trans people have so patiently explained that sex and gender are different and should not be conflated - which I freely accept - then it stands to reason that being a feminine gender does not necessarily make one female, and since sport and toilets are sex, not gender segregated, obviously the answer is to disregard the irrelevance of one's gender at these points, and defer only to sex.

Stock's extremely moderate, and a committed feminist. The issue is 'verging on hysteria' because of the backlash. Women's sport is a classic example of why an open category is so urgent. Biological men - men - will win every time, no matter what they're wearing and how they identify. As the Spanish say, Aunque el mono se vista de seda, mona se queda. Men simply have more power and strength. It's patently unfair to women to have a man compete against them in a sporting event. The divide is not about who you are but what you do. So poetry and art competitions, for example, can be open to anyone, but a physical sport where a man has a significant and unfair advantage needs to be tackled differently. The thing's completely self evident. If any of the protesters actually do read Stock's book they'll see what she thinks, not what they think she thinks. She doesn't say for a moment that transgendered people's rights shouldn't be protected. Of course they should, and she's said this consistently for years!

It's very hard to watch this and not conclude - as I often have done myself, and I have had to try and examine how I arrive at the conclusion and whether or not there are sever biases at play on my part - that the vast majority of those gender activists who we see on pieces like this are just pathological liars. There are so many untruths presented as the most undeniable knowledge. We watch for instance the argument that "the right" confects this conflict - in fact, the vast majority of people intuitively react against being told things are absolutely true which are patently false, unproven or debatable. No society can survive being forced to accept falsehoods as truths.

Wait, did that person just suggest that black people wanting equal rights is equivalent to males wanting to force women to treat them as if they're female? The implications of that assertion are racist af. It should go without saying that black people do not pose an experientially and statistically significant risk to white people akin to the experientially and statistically relevant risk of predatory behaviour that males direct towards females (or any inherent risk as far as i'm aware). No one is debating whether or not the trans phenomena (and all that that entails) exists btw, theyre debating what it should necessarily mean socially and in terms of policies and law.

These are the authoritarians. They don't even see it. Unwilling to listen, Unwilling to allow others to speak. Personally I don't care what any of these fellas wear or what shade of lippy is their favourite. They're free to look as ridiculous as they like. Just keep out of female only spaces, have some respect for female boundaries and leave children alone. It's very telling how dismissive the trans identifying males are of women's concerns in this clip. Perhaps because they're not female and do not have female lived experience. Just a thought fellas....

The dishinesty is galling. When trans rights come at the expense and conflict of womens rights, the safe guarding of children and the complete rejection of objective reality, then of course concerns will be raised, and discusions need to be had. The entitlement these overgrown children have is frankly infuriating.

Haven't you heard? Denying them access to women's changing rooms is akin to genocide. I thought genocide was the worst human crime imaginable but it's merely a mild inconvenience. The Armenian genocide must have been about a bunch of people queuing for the wrong bathroom.

Nobody is doing that they are arguing that fairness and privacy for women and girls shouldn’t be trampled and spat on. If they haven’t even read Stock’s book then their opinions on her arguments are worthless.
