During the lockdown, relatives from country have visited us in Prague. We were on empty old town square And my small cousin was complaining About too many People. Emptiness seems to be relative 😅

czech is very successful country, one of the least indebted countries in world, poverty rate is lowest in czech among Eu peers,

I would also add that the Czechia is a very safe country. The most common crimes in Prague are pickpocketing or drug offenses, but the tourists don't risk anything if they are careful about their belongings.

I keep coming back to this video - it's like ASMR to my brain, those boxy trams (name?) run so smooth and quiet it's like tranquil :)

@@calvinbaII If you mean the one on the thumbnail, that's, how somebody allready mentioned, Škoda ForCity Alfa 15T, Or in case it has yellow front, It's newer version 15T facelift. They're running qite smoothly, but since they're 100% low-floor, the wheels are qite noisy, especially on switches. Also, they have had some problems with underframes. It should be fixed now. The problems with underframes aren't so bad as with 14Ts tho.

Very good video, excellent street scenes with good shots of the trams, but would have liked some information on the trams even if it is only sub titles.

Living in Prague I must say, that the metro is great, but It would not work without the trams. Trams are more comfortable, I guess, because of the natural daylight, more quiet rolling stocks and less people, but metro is faster and more reliable.

@@user-ib9pz6id5b I prefer tram, it's very boring down in metro, I am using metro mostly only when I must travel thru whole city and I have no time. When I have time, I prefer tram or maybe even bus.

@@SoumyaChowdhury24081995 not really, but the tram network is covering (not just) whole city center, so you can use It to get virtually anywhere there. So, sometimes, It's hard decision If it's worth it going dwn to the metro and than back up or if it's better to just take tram...depends on the distance...But also, the metro coverage is worse since we have only 3 lines

Yes but only the retro line 23 operates the T3sucs and T3M trams These trams were last seen in 2016-17 with other tram lines

I visited about 15 years ago and the tram & metro were incredible then and so cheap, fantastic city. Loved it. Stayed at the astoria just of old town Square.

1:15 This one is designed by Porshe. But It is absolutly terrible tram.

They're the worst trams in Prague, they have a good capacity, but I don't like how they made the new seats inside it just feels extremely claustrophobic to me
