A compilation video of various trams and tram lines in and around Milan on May 28 and 29, 2023. In Milan, ATM is the urban transport operator and is therefore responsible for the operation of various bus, tram and metro lines. The ATM currently has six types of rolling stock for the tram.
The oldest is Ventotto, which were built between 1927 and 1930. Of the 502 cars, 151 are still in service. A large part will be replaced by new Stadler trams in the coming years after almost 100 years of service.
The most modern tram at the moment is the Sirio and Sirietto of AnsaldoBreda built between 2002 and 2009. You can see all types in this video.

This is cool, we used to have street cars like those in NYC back in the 1910s-1940s. They were sadly retired by the developed metro system we have today. Thanks for another cool video, b safe in Milan my friend 😎💯

Would be really cool to see the streetcars making their comeback to NYC! Maybe to connect some neighbourhoods where they can be additional to the metro systeem. We will see what the future holds. Thank you for watching and showing my videos to others!
En hoe stappen gehandicapten in zo'n tram?

Niet. Wat heel lullig gevonden kan worden,, maar tegelijkertijd zijn we in Nederland weer extreem in alles toegankelijk maken voor iedereen. In het buitenland speelt dat gewoon wat minder. Het zal vast niet onmogelijk zijn om het voor bijzondere situaties hulp aan te vragen. Maar in principe zijn daar niet alle trams geschikt voor mensen met een fysieke beperking. Er komen deels nieuwe trams die gelijkvloers zullen zijn. Maar er zijn altijd plekken en voertuigen die niet geschikt zijn voor iedereen.

@@chektor Dat kun je wel zeggen, maar wij hebben daar verder weinig mee te maken. Laten we ons focussen op hoe toegankelijkheid in Nederland geregeld is en ons niet bemoeien met het openbaar vervoer in andere landen.

@@Spoor4 Vergeleken. In Nederland is dat geweldig. Toegegeven, ik was er niet, ik weet de afstand van het platform tot de treeplank van de auto niet, maar ik denk dat het voor mij op krukken toegankelijk zal zijn. Ik zie ook veel gehandicapten op straat. Zoiets hebben we niet in Rusland, ze geven me niet eens gratis krukken (er is geen geld in de begroting).

@@chektor HI! on the oldest trams in Milan there is a special ramp that can be operated by the driver to allow people with motor disabilities to get on and off :)
